My name is tourist and I have a serious nicotine addiction. I once told God that I wanted quit smoking. He did not answer my prayer as He knew that I was lying to him. Perhaps when I am serious he will deliver me from this self-imposed affliction, and other things as well that do not belong in my life.

I stole about 2k usd from a Muslim a long time ago before i got saved(pretty much cleaned his account), felt bad about even then as i was doing it. Whats funny is i tried to pay him back, but he refused to take it.. we are still friends, and he is still Muslim.

In a former job I had a Muslim friend. She acted more Christian than a lot of Christians that worked there.

I also have a muslim friend at work. He is not perfect but he is a good friend and a wise adviser. I remember he stood up for us against our evil boss. He fights for what is right. My boss is a christian and her equally evil minion is a daughter of a pastor. The hipocrisy is really high in our atmosphere at work.

Apparently, your Christian boss is a Christian in name only, but not in deed, the same goes for his daughter. Thank you for your contribution.
 
I confess that it is very late/early and I should be in bed. Yet here I sit typing not really tired and wondering if I would be a wiggle worm and wake up my sleeping husband who will have to get up in a couple of hours to go to work.

I need to loose weight... When will I take action and do something about it? I need to just do it.
 
Tomorrow it is my turn to go to a nearby coffee shop and pick up the coffee for our congregants. I confess that it bothers me that sixty dollars a week is spent to buy coffee for people who can afford to buy their own coffee. Last week we continued through the book of first Timothy. I confess I did not connect with much of what was being said. Last Monday we had a Bible study on one Tim and it was much more productive. One of the things we do is look for an entry into sharing the gospel message with any passage from whatever book, chapter, and verses we are studying at the time. We also pick a verse to be the focus of an area of our life where we would like prayer, do a share around it, then ask another group member to pray for us. It is a really nice way to get to know people. I confess I feel quite awkward and inadequate praying for others, but at least this way I am getting some practice, and overcoming my obstructive self-consciousness :)

Today, as part of our assignment in our weekly class on managing chronic conditions we read about nutritional daily requirements. Part of our reading pertained to proteins and what foods contain protein such as nuts, seeds, certain plants, meats and fish, seaweed and algae. OK, it did not mention the algae but apparently seaweed is edible for those that are nautically inclined. Coming from the ocean it probably contains mercury. This was covered in the section about vitamins and minerals It recommend these teensy weeny portion sizes and the proper way to prepare them. I think the whole chapter was nuts.

Sixty bucks is quite an expenditure for coffee. Maybe is was Starbucks or some exotic blend from Hawaii.

Some of Paul's writing is hard to understand in relation to the rest of the Word of God in the bible. I believe that in some passages Paul is offering his opinion on a certain matter, that in most instances would probably be wise to follow but not necessarily a sin if you don't.

My wife and I have daily bible study, reading, devotion and prayer. We are reading the bible from Genesis through Revelation. We both have already read the bible in it's entirety a few times but never from start to finish. Currently we have just finished reading the 100th Psalm. Looking forward to Psalm 119. It's gonna be huge.

I cheated on my diet today. I ate an order of bacon and cheddar smothered potato wedges.
