I know some contributors well enough to know some are calling people to be disobedient
to God.

Everyone who says they do not need to repent of sin, no matter their spiritual position
are being disobedient to God. If Jesus says we have to love our enemies, to be just
as loving to our enemies as the Father is, and they say this is impossible are in disobedience
to Gods word.

If confessing sin, admitting to sinful behaviour is wrong, and asking for forgiveness and healing
is wrong, this is disobedience to Gods word.
If praying the Lords prayer is wrong, this is disobedience to Gods word.

These are all things I have seen testified to on cc. So the statement is true, people do share
against Gods word.

So I 100% agree with JJ. But if you represent the group who preach this kind of stuff, then
ofcourse you believe you are following God and His word. But are you doing this or are you
just going with the flow?
peter, please consider trying this- read the sermon on the mount. then ask yourself if you live up to that standard 24/7. if that is a no answer, then that means you fall short of that standard. and you need a perfect savior who kept it for you.

this is what " my side " is saying.

Or even better, don't even address it. Just report it straight off.

ok..

WHo here does not say we do not need to repent of sin.

Either start naming names, Or you will be reported for slander ( you know who you are)

As I said before, I am sick of this, and am going to just start reporting it from now on,,

time to start holding them accountable. if they can not name names, time to report this nonsense. It is the only way we can be free of it.
Or we could not interact with them too and if we feel they should be reported - that can be done too. Sometimes people just "read" what is said wrong and I can understand that. We all have done that.

But there are some that deliberately and on a continuous basis mis-represent what is being said - these we need to stop interacting with them as no good comes from it.

yes, we all have been guilty of that, Thats why we should ask questions if we do not think we understand,

But some are beyond that.. It is habitual.

It never ends. It's like he has to cling to those lies or else he has just spent the last year judging and condemning innocent people and arguing with himself over a straw-man of his own making. But his pride would never allow him to even see that, let alone admit it. It’s unfortunate that there are some misguided here who give him just enough encouragement to continue in his delusions.
FNC - I wonder at the ideas you live in. You think I am lying. It shows where your heart is.

I do not have pride. Simply we are called to walk like Jesus.
I hope if you claim to follow Jesus you desire to walk like Jesus.

I understand your ethics, so I must be evil. But as Jesus preached the sermon on the mount
to believers to follow, is Jesus also evil?

Jesus's words are eternal, so they will never fade. They cannot be dispensational, but for
all time, forever. We are called to align with our Lord, to humble ourselves to Him and His
word. His word is the Fathers word, the Lord most High.

So we all must be very careful to listen, learn, and obey. Through our obedience and faith
we are called friends of Christ.

Now if all I have said above is true, absolutely true, why am I guilty of evil?
If I am not evil, why do you regard me as your enemy and someone who is lying before the King?

take this,, Take the law.. (Let me see, Nope still fail to do it) Take the whole word and all God commands us to do and we will see how much we fall short. Which is why we praise GOD WHO SAVES US,,

Jesus Christ has judged all who believe Him already, and all who truly believe Him do not have the guilt of their iniquity held agains them. Therefore all who belie, and Jesus knows who they are, do meet the "standard cited.

Keep in mind the work God began in each of us will not be completed until the Lord's Däy. It is god who is ding the work in each of us, not we.

My personal understanding and belief is it is wrong to ask a child of God to judge himself at any level, for this is something that gives the enemy pleasure, taking away from the judgement of grace by Jesus Christ.

Certainly this is not a challenge intending to that end, I pray not.

gb7 - This is a very legalist way of looking at Christ and God.

I understand your emotional and spiritual framework, but it is not mine.
To your mind I am a self righteous hypocrite who denies his sin.

Now with a hard heart and closed off emotions I know your place.
But with an open heart and emotions free for God to move everything changes.
Gods precepts of Christ are an encouragement to show His love more, 24/7.

It is up to God to convict me of my sin and failure and we will work through it
together. So I do not go hunting for failure, His word convicts and shows it
as I have fellowship with Him and I am changed, transformed.

But this is not your experience, but even here on cc it is mine.
Even members on cc can testify how I share and with what has changed.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

God bless you.

I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.
Psalm 7:17

Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.
Psalm 30:4

Dear Lord, I owe to you everything that I have, Praise your holy name.

With all due respect, grammatically through, via, by, because of, by means of and many more may be used interchageablly according to the context given withing the sentence.. No matter, if we understand what another is dsayng, especially in this informal venue, then correction of such things is not really necessary or helpful. I have done by faith in my sojourn here in this strange lad, and through faith I have gained all that is truly important. God bles syou always.

I call your attention to the red highlighted part of your post. We are NOT saved through faith. We are saved BY GRACE, THROUGH faith. Just thought I'd call your attention to the omission of "by grace". :)

I don’t really know how to explain this, but I’ll try. The teachings of grace that I have found on this site has really helped me to grow since I started following this site. I was blinded for many years because of my teachings of work, work, work for salvation. My focus wasn’t really on what Jesus had already done for me to save me, but on what I needed to do for him to be and remain saved.

I was making his cross of no effect and trying to do it on my own. When I messed up I would get so discouraged and think there is no way that I can ever make it because I’m just not good enough. So thank God that I came on this site and began to hear the preaching of Grace.

I started focusing on his grace, mercy, and abiding in his forgiveness, and it was like a light came on. I found great peace in trusting and depending on Jesus and his grace. Trusting in grace didn’t make me want to sin, sin, sin or just do whatever I wanted. It was just the opposite…It actually freed me from sin in that I don’t focus all of my attention on sin and how much good I need to do to be worthy of salvation.

I can now focus on Jesus and his grace and that he has already broke the chains of sin. In doing so, I have found that I am able to come through trials and temptations much easier now because it is not me that is working but Jesus’ grace is working for me and through me. I am secure in Jesus. I have begun to see real fruit in my life since I stood back and gave it all to Jesus and started letting his grace do the work.
There are people to whom grace is like rain, refreshing and helpful.
Sounds like this is a message you needed to hear.

Amen, Christ is the power of our salvation, the Holy Spirit working in us as
we walk in obedience to His word.

Name them. Quote them and call them out. I'll personally lead the charge to have them banned from CC. Don't fret and don't play games. Who are they? Name them!

wow I missed that, that is two times he slandered people with no names..

why is he so afraid I must ask myself. If they do as he said, it should be EASY to name them and prove it..

Perfect example.......where sin abounds, grace did much more abound.....it is ALL JESUS and his work, faith, righteousness etc.....

Utah - Do you understand the difference between saints attacking others for standing for
righteousness and sinners falsely accusing saints of sins they have not committed.

And we are not maligning people, we are sharing what you actually believe.
I did not have weeks of threads going through how you can sin and be forgiven while sinning and this
is ok, without going "what" "you are not serious"

So it is hard to malign people with their own theology. What one contributor said was they hated
not the repeating of the theology, but it being put in a bad light. Now that is dumb, because if it
is actually evil and wrong, ofcourse it will be in a bad light, because sin is sin.

And you cannot malign people with confessed sin which they confess they commit and do not
repent of or deal with. That is rebellion against God and staying in willful sin. I have no problem
with drug addicts working with their addiction, not people totally compromised and denying
God wants change and love to break out. This is just bringing the gospel into disrepute.

We are called to expel unrepentant people in obvious sinful behaviour from our fellowships.
But maybe people are so worldly they do not know Gods word or Jesus at all.
Name CC members who are unrepentant sinners.

Hopefully any talk of sinning should take into consideration that malice, deceit and the slandering of others in the body of Christ is just as much sinning as living a homosexual lifestyle is.

Name CC members who are unrepentant sinners.
Utah - I have a simple problem, it is not for me to say who is not repenting of sins,
in the sense I mean it. I can but testify to what people wrote in the past.

Now the object of my testimony is to demonstrate the reality of the theology.
It appears you do not believe anyone is living in unrepentant sin. I do, because it
has been my experience in church life, many do not understand the term, let alone
what walking in purity and holiness is. Many here would also say they are in continual
sin of not trusting God 24/7, which meant they were sinning. This was an argument
used that I was a sinner if I did not do their definition of the sermon on the mount 24/7.

God calls us Holy because He regards us as such. I think you need to begin to think
at how David who was a violent man, who commited adultery, had many wives, killed
Uriah the Hittite by the sword of the Philistines, stayed a man of God. What is a good
relationship with the Lord is a long way from your man made view of communion.
This implied they failed.
