True, I asked JJ before who he was trying to preach too.. Seems we have all these people trying to show imaginary people what they have wrong..
This is the first time I've ever seen you proclaim grace through faith so boldly. What gives?
Utah - If you believe we should walk in righteousness in obedience to the law of Christ,
why are you opposing JJ.
If the position was we need to be Jews, ie like Galatians, then one would be a works
salvationist. If one is saying as fruit of coming to faith we conform to the law of Christ
that is 100% what Paul is saying.
He rebukes the corinthians for their sin on this basis. Yet he says he should not be
judged over issues of motivation, God will judge that at the end.
So all this accusation is confusing, because you do appear to be saying we should
be lawless, if there is no law you say or righteousness to which we answer to.

What do you mean? I have always said we are saved through faith in Christ Jesus.
I am not a works salvationist, and I will not attack people for being moral, just look for
the emotional reality in their lives. This is what Jesus did the pharisees. Being good is
from God, but without a pure heart you will always defile oneself.

I only state fact. Everyone in this thread in fact everyone in this chat room that I know would not teach AGAINST the things you tried to post. or against obedience to Gods word.
So who are you preaching to?

I am asking a question. Animosity runs deep in you for some unknown reason.
We oppose those who oppose walking in righteousness.
The confusing thing here is the differences between contributors, who polarise
the subject without bringing true content.
Ofcourse people want good behaviour, but criticising people for talking about good
behaviour is actually opposing it, because you are discouraging them only because
they say righteousness matters. As the people of God we support anyone who believes
in doing good, no matter their faith, position or history.
But in Christ we say the only true foundation is Christ the fountain of love and victory.
And all good works, righteous deeds fade and turn bad if not grounded in Christ and His
love. It is like a spiritual rule, the kingdoms will turn things into evil or good depending
on their allegiance.
Jesus argument was simple. I am the pure image of the Father. Oppose me and you are
Gods enemy, because in me there is nothing to find fault with. So if you oppose something
that comes straight from Christ you are definately in sin, no matter how hidden it might be,
it is a spiritual reality. So we always need to be careful, because it is us who have the
distortions and problems, not Christ or His word.
This is a laughable series of statements.
"I only state fact" - you give opinions, testimony, opinions so this is not true.
"Everyone" - is a belittling attempt a exaguration to make it appear someone is nothing.
"obedience to Gods word" - people do preach against Gods word by claiming it is old covenant
so can be ignored.
So this whole construction is simply false, intended to harm and destroy another contributor.

teaching directly or indirectly.. either way... why if you are so into the law of love are you so nasty? why not agree that he speaks truth since you claim to be doing as you should.. rejoice when truth is spoken acknowledging the wonderful ability that Jesus made available...
saying that one has to keep the Mosaic Law to be saved is wrong. Jamie j is a nice man, usually respectful, but he is in error in his Hebrew roots system. pointing this out is not wrong.
We have to remember there is imputed righteousness ( a gift)------there is imparted righteousness----obedience--- as in the case of Abraham believing God--- with deeds of obedience---we are not saved by works ----obedience in following Christ needs to be taught more because it pleases God---- without faith it is impossible to please God ( Hebrews 11:6). ---- look at the context---- Noah obeying building the Ark----- Moses--- refusing to be called the son of Pharoah's daughter...
There is an ethic that was expressed months ago to demolish "legalists", expose them
and stop them contributing.
Now bringing love and truth to light, along with Christ words and reality I say amen to.
But to turn things into a personal attack about the integrity and honesty of an individual
is just unchristian behaviour, when there is only enthusiasm for Gods word and His reality
in our lives.
And the justification is for the weaker young believers who may feel condemned.
Sadly this is just a wolf in sheeps clothing excusing compromise and sin, while
claiming to walk in Gods ways. We have no compromise with sin, ever.
Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

WHo is being nasty? But the one who posted a BUNCH of posts stating people were against the things posted? JJ does this crap all the time.. Yet you want to blame me for asking a question, then stating a fact?
I would agree that he speaks truth, But that was not his intention. it was to judge certain people. He does this all the time..
I am not going to rejoice or pamper someone who I know is doing wrong.
I asked him, AS HAS MANY to say who he is preaching to. He never gives a name, If he wants to preach to someone, let us know who he is preaching to..
