Hello everyone,
I just recently joined this site and in need of some dating advice from my Christian brothers and sisters out there. I am a 46 year old Christian Male that interested in a Christian Female from my church that I attend. I have been attending my Church for about two years now. When I joined the Church I became involved in the Singles Ministry as well as volunteer in that Ministry. This is where I met the woman I am interested in as she serves on the board for the Singles Ministry too. She is a very nice, sweet person with a great personality. She caught my eyes the first time I saw her. Over time we slowly start having conversations with each other. They have been really good, positive and always flowing. We seem to connect with each other pretty well as we are the same age as well. I want to ask her out on Valentines day to get to know her even more but I am kind of nervous as I don't know what her response would be to me asking her out or if she is interested in me. Also, I am going through some financial challenges that I am trying to overcome so this is also making me hesitant in asking her out as I just feel a little embarrassed with my financial situation right now but I don't want to let the opportunity of potentially being with a good Christian woman slip away from me. I have never dated anyone from my Church before and that puts a little more pressure on me as I am very picky about the women I date and I am at a stage where I don't want to date just to date anymore. I really could use some advice as I have been thinking about this every single day for a month now. My thing is that I am ready emotionally to be with her but not financially as I am working on that. I really could use advice from some Christian brothers and sisters about this...
