To be blunt most men just want a wife that isn't challenging, they want one that's easy, and pretty much willing to go with whatever they say...God bless them if they can make it work, but some of those women are block heads.. should be careful with what you pick, just because one meets the requirements doesn't mean it will be any good. My uncle is a perfect example his girl friend was Korean/Chinese, they had a kid together and she ended up kidnapping the kid for a year, forgot where she took him but she abused him the entire time.

1. Ridicule, rather than actual debate, is also a hallmark of trolls.
2. If you knew anything about the Bible, you'd already know why the book of Judges is not a customary place to look for doctrine.

I meant to point this out under my topic of someone from another country adhering to different rules.
Sometimes in other countries, harsh punishments and what we see in America as physical abuse are seen as normal for raising children.
I've seen this up close with someone I was once close to.
The mother was from a country in which physical beatings, even to the point of leaving scars, was seen as the norm in bringing up children. She honestly did not know any better, because this is how she, and those she knew, were all raised.
You may find yourself having to explain to someone how abuse is defined in your home country, and that what your spouse might see as "normal" might actually be illegal.
PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT, in ANY way, trying to put down other countries, their cultures, or their people.
