Because there's a difference between being an economic conservative and a social conservative. There's a lot of conservatives out there who support things like gay marriage and transsexuals. Conservative doesn't always equal Christian.

In my family just about every male is gay on my mother's side and I did have a transgender uncle, he died before surgery was a big thing.. called himself Carrol... We have bisexual and lesbian women... The entrance into my family came from Romania GMA, was heavy into fortune telling and all that garbage... Would I invite if my brother were trans? 1st I never acknowledge the bondage(since my own identity freedom came) so he'd already know to dress appropriately and I'd already call him his birth name.. I have yet to know someone to be so sensitive.. those ones have other issues and milk the identity role...

You sort of compared 2 different concepts that have nothing to do with each other: God's forgiveness, and miraculous healing of a missing body part.
1. Of course God can forgive him.
2. But, even if Bruce does want forgiveness, God is not going to miraculously supply him with a new penis.
3. My own thought: although anyone CAN BE forgiven, by the time you're chopping off your own genitals, you've "probably" passed the place mentally/spiritually where you're ever WILLING to ask for forgiveness.
Finally, whatever we think about Trump's position on this, he doesn't have the job of being a pastor or theologian...
he has the job of being the President.
I didn't hire him to be my pastor.
Hopefully he'll be good at the job he was hired for.... and we all knew he wasn't a classical conservative when we hired him.

But it is academic to me. The Church should teach that killing someone is a mortal sin because it cannot be undone.

You KNOW this isn't going to happen.
And THAT IS PRECISELY WHY a sex change is so bad.
YOU KNOW it's irreversible.

Caitlyn Jenner is a man, I don't understand why people keep referring to him as a she/her. God made you who you are & if you proclaim yourself to be other than what he made you that's disrespectful to him. What I would applaud is if he reproclaimed himself as a man & proclaimed Jesus as the Lord of his life which could influence those who look up to him.
I think this is incredibly simplistic. We have a culture that screams be perverted.

Witchcraft, Satanism, Homosexuality, etc etc etc. Things our parents thought outlandish and impossible.
The most violent attacks on Christianity are Evolution and anything anti-family.
Children are being saturated with messages of gay is good, men are bad, etc etc etc.
In tow to all this is a fad of transgenderism, where children, e.g 7 year olds, are now demanding gender reassignment.
Once it is done, it is done.
The Church really just has to say it is madness. That is all I am saying.
There is nothing complicated or semantic about this.
