Man, you guys are wimps. I remember it being below freezing inside my high school and still managing to get work done.

Sigh, why, why must I remind people that there are areas in the South that do get snow. We at least parts of TX gets snow. As well as OK. Now granted, it ain't anything like they get in Canada, much less Montana or North Dakota. But we do get our 6"-12" of snow.
(PS: every time I go to OK during winter time, it usually starts to snow. So if you live in OK and want snow, just invite me up there. Just make sure I have a portal out of there quickly, because snowballs in my ears are not a good thing. Or maybe it's OK that doesn't agree with me.)

For those who are confused by the Fahrenheit measurement. 32 F equals 0 C. -8 F equals -22 C. (Sorry, the science teacher in me must come out.)

So I just googled up the lyrics for Carol of the Bells. The requested lyrics were displayed right under an advertisement for Assassin's Creed.

What?

Almost as odd as when I googled up Super OS (nee Super Ubuntu, basically Ubuntu with everything and the kitchen sink already added) and got repeated advertisements for electric cigarettes. What, computer nerds are all smokers?

The snow here today was light and fluffy. When the sun was shining I felt like I was living in a snow globe, it was nice.

I can sleep at 36 C without a fan. I enjoy warm weather. Only thing I can't stand is direct heat from the sun.

10 years ago, my city used to have frequent powercuts during summer. There were times when we had to go for several hours in 42degC without a fan! :(
