I don't understand how people can be judgemental of this person when jesus tells us not to be judgemental. You are being way more unchristian than person ever has been.

Do people think God will change, or are they on a mission from satan to draw Christians into their rebellion?

What are you talking about? This person came to this forum, stated they are a Christian, then stated they were gender fluid. They ended their statement by saying the church is ignorant of sexual orientation issues.

After a back and forth on what gender fluid ment, the discussion then went to trying to reconcile what has been learned to the word of God.

It can't be reconciled because God made us male or female, not both.

God will not be moved. Mountains get out of his way.

Craigb513,

I think I remember you!

You're a PROPHET right???

Aren't you the fellow who just joined, and your FIRST POST was to INFORM us that you are a PROPHET and you're here LOOKING FOR FOLLOWERS?
:)
That's fantastic!

Lets's see... where did that thread go... oh here it is.
http://christianchat.com/miscellaneous/145650-i-had-revelation-jesus.html
And what was it you were saying... hmmm...
He told me that I am to be his new prophet I know this may sound crazy but it is the truth and he wants others to join me and help purify the world in his name and make this world a better place and try to help as many people to reach heaven as we can. Jesus has told me that he will give me more revelations as I find more people so come join me and let's make the world a better place

Anyway, I'm SO glad you popped into this thread all worried about Jazzsinger!

Since you're a prophet, maybe you can just whip up a few miracles to help him!
Actually, since "gender fluid" doesn't really sound very biblical,
maybe you can whip up a few miracles to just FIX THAT!

That would be GREAT!

It's fantastic that you popped by this thread...
you're JUST IN TIME!

How are people being judgemental? You want people to sugar coat things & tickle people ears about how the Lord feels about those who choose the gender fluid lifestyle?

Ah well, I have a few people at work who decide they do not want to identify with either gender, although one of them tries to carry off looking like a male, the rather ample bust gives things away, but she still not identify as being female. Maybe we should have a proper thread on this rather than condeming a person to death on thier welcome thread, not very good start, so erm... .Hello!

Perhaps because there is a distinction between a group of people bashing someone over the head and dog piling them vs letting a few people provide valid, biblical arguments, with truth and love.
Especially a new believer.

Nice to meet you Jazz...

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but gender is identifiable in the blood of an infant in the womb at about 7 weeks gestation. So, you see, gender has been given by the Creator. Interestingly, its in the blood. Looking at Scripture from the OT through to the New, we see that the blood has great significance. No blood, no life. So God the Creator chose to put markers right in the blood that identified what gender He chose for us.

It's not rocket science, to be sure, but it is quite amazing that now, more than ever, there need be no confusion for someone who is unsure what gender they are. Get the blood test and see for yourself what gender you are. God your Creator gave you that part of your identity. No more need for confusion or vacillating or rebelling against His design. Rejoice and receive the gift of how He made you, and learn what plans He has for your life, as you come to know His Son, Jesus Christ. No life without Jesus!

Peace to you,
AbideinVine

P.S. A good friend of mine just recently published a book, if you're interested in reading it, called "God and Sexuality" - it's available on Amazon. Author: Janet Boynes. I highly recommend it to you!

Hello.
I am new to the Christian faith. My parents are Christian and in the ministry.
I am Christian also, believing deeply in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.
I also happen to identify as gender fluid. I have found a church that is welcoming. I have also been blessed to find Christian literature that is affirming.
I am frustrated, however, to find myself amongst the minority in the Christian community. I think it is so sad that the church remains ignorant on issues of sexual orientation and gender.
I just wanted to share.

I dont know if you're being honest with us,I dont know if you'll be back. Either way God loves you and he has a much better plan for your life and a better path than you are taking now. What you are involved in is bondage and sin and it will never satisfy you. Pray about it and sincerely seek God and He will turn your life around and you will live a life pleasing to Him. Blessings.

Hey OP, if you're still with us.

Many people struggle with their identity, be it gender- wise or in some other way.
That does not mean that the choices we make are always healthy for us.

There is nothing wrong with dressing as the opposite gender ... clothes are man- made ideas after all.
There is nothing wrong with not feeling attracted to the opposite sex. (and I personally doubt
sexual attraction is a priority of God's,)
... but if this leads to a sexual relationship that is not in line with how God intended it to be, then it IS a sin, and it is harmful.
Notice: Harmful. To you.

Three very good friends of mine are bisexual. I love them no less than my other friends. I treat them no differently from my other friends. ... but I still know it is harmful to them , and that hurts, because they are wonderful people (none of them are Christian), and I wish for them to meet Christ , to have HIM as their first love, and be freed from their sin.
(I sin too , in other ways. I am no better than them, I just sin differently. ... but that doesn't mean I stop worrying about my friends).
