we have had numerous users leave the site because of the non-stop contention caused by it. Well, I am glad they have put their foot down about it. As to where I have been? Yeah, I have not been as present in the BDF recently. The News Forum became irresistible to me after the election, plus I have not been well.

It's really sad isn't it, I know some people have left because of the bullying. I hope they come back if it's God's will and learn to only focus on the positive. I'm glad you've got a life away from that place Magenta and it's not in every breath you draw. I hope your health continues to improve, if you need any tips, shoot me a question or post one in the natural health forum, otherwise I'll keep praying for you. God bless.

Thank you, Darlene I have seen eight doctors in the last five weeks Four of them were working on trying to figure out what was wrong and three of them completely dropped the ball, especially considering the fact that one in three people over the age of fifty will get shingles. If you have not had it, get immunized! It is very painful. I have extensive nerve damage that may be causing me pain for a year or more because they failed to properly diagnose me until it was too late. One doctor even saw the first shingle and I showed her how much of my body had gone numb, but she dismissed both symptoms, and put me on a drug that can actually cause shingles under certain conditions. Then the doctor that finally properly diagnosed after the large numb area was covered in shingles, gave me the meds that are prescribed if it is caught in time to prevent the neuralgia, so that was a waste. He should have been putting me on pain meds. I got them when I went to see the seventh doctor LOL.

Oh, it is your anniversary today! Happy second anniversary to you and Jerry!!

Tourist had to work today, but he left candy - (chocolates) - and a card for me to find this morning and brought red roses home with him from work which is the flower we had for our hotel wedding.... he's watching football and relaxing and I'm on the computer after reading the Sunday paper...it's all good...

I scored a $50.00 dining certificate to Outback Steak House from bonus points on one of our credit cards and once it comes we will go and fine dine....lol Probably on a week day to stay clear of crowds that can happen this time of year.

I just can't believe that two years has gone by already seems like we were just causing flirt problems throughout all the treads just yesterday......lol

Sorry you are dealing with shingles Magenta if they know what it is now they can treat you correctly at this point? Sorry you have had to go to so many doctors....Fire the first 7 and keep the one that knows what he is doing.... What a mess to have not diagnosed you correctly sooner... Hope you are better soon will pray for speedy recovery for you and that you will soon be pain free.

Not anymore they don't.. CS1 and Oncefallen have made the decision that anyone debating or promoting hyper grace will be banned. They are sick of having to deal with tons of reports about people pushing hyper grace..

I'm sure it is alright to talk about what the Lord is doing in the world to show His love and grace for them - that I don't think s the issue.

Here is the post from CS1 that describes why the reason to stop using the term and attacking one another with bad behavior from both sides of the coin. Then oncefallen posted afterwards.

it has been a long - suffering and very patient with many in here pertaining to the topic of "hyper-grace" and those who seem to bring this topic up in every post no matter what the thread maybe . Moderators have addressed the issues with some in Bible discussion forum pertaining to this Subject " hyper-grace". We have received more submissions of infractions due to this topic. And the same names keep coming up. Moderators have asked what is hyper grace and where do you stand on the subject? those who were asked have provided their understanding. Now it is not that CC agree with nor against this doctrine as many hold to calvinist and the positions and have scriptural ref to support their understanding. BUT maturity and not attacking those is what is needed. here is what we get when the "hyper grace" topic is brought up:

1. your not saved
2. attacks
3. false teacher
4. infraction submitted
5. request for account to be closed
6. name calling
7. "hyper grace" brought into every post when not even the topic of origin

I have given you 7 reasons why this topic is not good for CC Thread and I have yet to find one reason for it.
Admin and the moderators will no longer allow this to continue . And appropriate action will be taken if a member or guest starts a topic on "hyper grace " or Preachers who teach it. remember those who attack each other many of them call themselves christians yet we eat and devour each other. enough is enough. I am not going to dress you personally at this time... You have an opportunity to let it go or CC Admin and Moderators will take action.

The itch from the pre-shingles rash drove me nuts!

Thank you for your prayers! There is nothing to be done at this point but pain management. The med they put me on for that is an antiepileptic, also used as an antidepressant, that supposedly works by blocking the pain signal to my brain. It helps a bit, but not 100%. I have been off work for two weeks now, and plan to go back tomorrow. I hope that goes well. It is a busier time of year coming up to Christmas and I like to do my part
