America's oldest brewery right? I had a buddy give me a couple from his private stash that he obtains from up north. We can't just purchase it here in Tx. it's tragic...
Yep. It isn't the best beer, but it's probably the best value beer on the market. A long cut above Budweiser at $1-2 more per six pack.
It's great for an end of the day, no frills beer. Indistinguishable from more expensive lagers when served from the draft.
I'd love to see them make a Pale Ale.
Yeah, I saw a post last night on this thread under "New Forum Posts" on the home page and was like, that went on such a tangent.
I've left a few forums because of the fanatic insistence on keeping a thread strictly "On Focus" of a narrowly defined subject.
Personally, I prefer 80 proof gin with tonic and a twist of lime but then I don't drink anymore. God is great, beer is good. I think that is in a song.

I can't complain too much, we have an excellent state brewery called Shiner. Founded by some fine German settlers, it's my tasters choice. They make a fine bock as well as a lot of seasonal brews in the town of the same name. Mucho Ghusto.
