You apparently don't understand as much as you would like to think you do about perspective in the flat earth model.
The sun going down -- a ship going out to sea -- someone walking down a long stretch of road -- it is all the same.
The sun never vanishes before reaching the horizon -- no matter how small it gets, it is still too large within the scope and range of the perception of the human eye. So then, when it does vanish - it will be at the horizon -- when it reaches the limit of the perception of the human eye.
Put another way -- the part of the sun that cannot be seen - is not below the horizon - it is beyond the horizon.
There really is no such thing as "below the horizon"; there cannot be - it defies the definition. Think about it...
why should they?
train tracks are laid in usually 39ft rail sections, with a small gap to allow for thermal expansion. how much curvature do you think there is over 39 feet?
the half of the sun that is below the horizon is not too small for the eye to see, or the top half of the sun would also be the same size.
i've showed you the math too -- on a flat earth, the sun never appears to actually touch the horizon. it's not 'that far' away in your paradigm that it wouldn't be an appreciable distance above the visible horizon at all times -- and it wouldn't shrink in size by more than about 30% (therefore also in apparent brightness by any less either).
in short, in your paradigm, the sun never becomes too small to see, never touches the horizon, and never dims more than it would if a thin cloud passed in front of it at noon.
'perspective' is a stupid argument for sunsets. does not hold a single drop of water.

You do realize that in skyscrapers, airplanes, mountain ranges, any form of altitude you can see the sunset longer than you can at sea level? Ergo, the Earth is not flat.

Your problem in obtaining a proper understanding of all of this is that you are trying to define the Flat Earth Model in Globe Earth Model terms.
It - does - not - work - that - way.
If you will learn how to look at the Flat Earth Model in Flat Earth Model terms --- you should be able to understand it a whole lot better...

Regarding calculations for the curvature of the earth, that is included in the radio wave propagation I also mentioned earlier.
You argue that because people don't make math corrections when laying railroad tracks therefore the earth must be flat. Yet you deny the math calculations that show the earth is spherical in every known way to humanity and has been proven over and over again, not the least of which is by the length of the meter.
Either you are morbidly self-righteous and delusionally deceived by the enemy, or you know better and are even more deceived by the enemy such that either you consider acting like an idiot to be "fun" or you are doing this for pay and/or an agenda.
I pray in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST that you will repent of your evil and attempts to deceive others and give your life wholly and unreservedly to the truth of the LORD Jesus Christ and the Jesus Christ of truth.

this is equivalent to taking a 1-foot diameter beach ball, and laying teeny strips of metal 0.000003 inches long across it, and claiming that those strips need to be curved instead of straight, because the beach ball is curved.
look at this picture:
do you see a circle, or do you see 3.4 million straight lines joined end to end?
because that's how many railroad track sections it would take to span the circumference of the earth. imagine, if you can, what the angular gap between each one would be.
do you think that if you had 3,371,212 toothpicks and arranged them in a circle, that you would need to carefully bend each toothpick to make it so that a tiny train could go across them OK?
