I hope to one day make youtube videos, I wanna make an "educational" video on melodic bass guitar playing and maybe a few videos of me playing my own songs or covers of others songs. Only two problems, only camera I have is my laptop cam, no video editing software and a lack of confidence, partially due to the fact that Ive gained alot of weight these past few months : p Will wait until I thin out a bit : p
I feel that way about 90% of Zeroturbulences avatars : p
Btw, I actually think its hilarious that he uses food as avatars, I might be the only person who feels that way but I think its great : p

Laptop cam can work if you position it right, freeware video editing programs exist and if you wait until you are ready you will never do it. Do it now and don't post on youtube, just do it to be learning what you are doing. When you are good enough to satisfy your own criteria you will know.

Avidemux is what I would recommend off the bat. Did a quick google to check and it's still good. (Hey things change fast in the software world.)

When I go to chat random men PM me. Men I know who just want to tell me something, but when someone starts chit chatting and I don't know them I get annoyed. I'm on a phone, it's hard to click off the PM when you're on a phone.

I use VideoPad... (#2 in the TechRadar list). I would advise against you trying Lightworks (at least to start). It's extremely powerful, but has a pro-level learning curve and will likely short your brain out.

For me, if I can't physically get by myself for some reason, then I get alone in a good book. Kindle is my best friend.
Also, might try the bathroom, garage, basement, sit in the car, go to a library, etc...
