Unlike you seem to be doing, I don't try to decide the hearts of other people nor control and judge what happens anywhere but with me and in my own congregation. I don't bark like a dog... though I HAVE spoken in tongues for about 30 years... so if someone else does, I don't run to their house to watch them. Just like I no longer attend churches where (as my old church used to do) they swear that tongues don't exist, and that every gift and miracle died with the last Apostle.

I usually try to do what Jesus told us to do.... "Watch out for yourself." "Tell others what you believe to be true, but don't attempt to condemn those who won't accept it." "I'll deal with them in the way I have determined to do LONG before you were born."

No, he heard the woman speaking his language and she was speaking in tongues. She did not know his native tongue.

2. If she did speak the same language,his native language as you quoted.How is that speaking in tongues.... another language?

To speak in the same native tongue as another. I would think is all one in the same language .

How did they reason?

How would that be as in one has evidence of the Holy Spirit, as a work they perform?

How would we know the other believed as we speak in a tongue?Would it be by the other person speaks in another language? Or would God who causes the growth give them His understanding?

I think that might be like the unbelief of Jews when Jeremiah prophesied the word of God.

Isaiah 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

I would like to believe it moved some while other disciples remained in unbelief and walked way after the flesh. I believe I was reminded of a verse I am offering below.

Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; "help thou" mine unbelief.

How noble. Well just because you claim to speak in what you believe are tongues does not have a great deal of merit when compared to the scriptures.

Any belief no matter how dearly held is of no merit if it is not biblical. Just as God cannot lie the Holy Spirit does not operate outside of the word of God.

But HE gets the last say
And I doubt on that day any will say:

I, I, I

If they do, they don't even know what they are so confidently claiming

(all mouths will be silenced. )

well, should be silenced

And no flesh shall boast before HIM

adults acting like children in front of those who are half our age who come to us for "wisdom and understanding"

probably the bery reason why Paul, who couldn't be there all the time to make sure the baby believers were growing properly prayed that GOD give these the SPIRIT OF wisdom and understanding to better understand their GREAT SOURCE of SALVATION in and only in by and through CHRIST JESUS

The POWER AND HOLINESS OF THAT NAME

I'm from a Pentecostal Church and i believe in persons fall down in the presence of the Lord when the anointing is present but the bible also says that we should "try every spirit to see whether they are of God". I also ask that you guys be careful of discrediting the work of the Holy Spirit because if you are saying that its not the spirit of God then the only other spirit you could be associating it with would be the devil and the bible says that "every sin will be forgiven save for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit". Be careful you don't get yourself in trouble.

So explain this to me.... I was working a prayer line at a Evangelistic meeting, in a soccer stadium, in a small town in Costa Rica. I could not then or now speak or understand Spanish. SO the ushers bring a man to me that could not speak or understand English...He is very upset and angry and the Holy Ghost told me, just go hug him, so I did. As the man struggled to get free, I began praying in tongues in his ear...yeah the gibberish you state does not exist and is of the lying spirit you say it is and others say is of the devil. So after a few minutes the man stops struggling and is totally limp and I am holding him up and he is weeping and crying and groaning, he then begins to speak in Spanish, but I hear him in English and he asks me how I knew he was ritualistically abused sexually as boy by a black magic occult group, how did I know all the pain and fear he had been holding onto, and how my hug had released a perfect love & Peace in him, he had never felt before. He asked me if Jesus could take all his pain and fear away. I said yes and we lead that man to confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in his heart that God raised him from the dead. I spoke in English, but he heard me in Spanish....now after he received Jesus Christ as his savior, I asked the Holy Ghost to fill him and he began shouting in gibberish, praising God and prophesying to the wonderful works of God...The Holy Ghost gave me the interpretation to to the gibberish you suggest is a lying spirit from the devil....

you need to open your spirit and stop believing with your mind....
