Social issues, but really they are bankrolled by the same corporations/bankers/lobbyists....whichever side get's chosen these players mentioned before win out either way....and get their needs met while the taxpayer gets screwed....welcome to American politics friend! :)
 
The Republican party is about greed corruption racism and war
The Democratic Party is about pretending to feel bad about greed corruption racism and war
 
We don't really see it, but we are not far from emulating ancient Rome. And, we will likely fall the same way.
 
Interestingly enough, the aims, goals, and values of the two parties are directly the opposite of what they were when this two-party system began.... and it looks like they might be beginning to reverse once again.
 
Gandalf, Willie is correct with the 'not much'.

though the people have different views and motives, the politicians themselves really are no different to one another. :(

and now i'm going to play with my grandsons. thank God! :)
 
I have a good reason for asking this :) not just stirring the pot...

I was wondering if your vote is based on the person or political party? If the Donald was in Hillary's camp and vice versa would somebody like Mitspa be a Hillary supporter or would it still be Trump?

I am a non-voter for the reason that I can't associate myself with the clowns in parliament in South Africa :)

I can't remember who said this but I have heard this before.
 
The republicans do not believe in the government doing everything they think issues should be left to the state, county and local levels. Democrats think the more government the better. Democrats raise taxes and then say everyone gets to to go to college for free! When it's not actually free. Everyone is being obligated to pay for something they don't even use.

I've been saying for years that we have long since become ancient Rome (all we lack is an Emperor). The similarities are unmistakable and we will most definitely fall the same way.
