Eggs?
Bunnies?
Candy?
REALLY? I MEAN WHAT THE CRAP?!

Everyone this next week will be saying don't forget, don't forget, don't forget, don't forget........

Haven't we already?
Yes Easter is not about eggs, candy, and bunnies, we ALL know its about the day we were set free.
Or do we?
We all claim that this next week will be dedicated to our Christ Jesus but what really goes on in your head?
"I can't wait to wake up on Sunday and find me some good chocolate and friggin easter eggs in my stupid little pink basket!!!??"
It may not mean much to you reading this, but I challenge you right now just to sit and think.
Take the next five minutes and REALLY think.
Think about how much easter really does mean to you.
If easter means eggs and candy than go for it!
If easter means the day Jesus rose from the grave and burst out into the sun praising God than go for it!
Whatever you take to think about in the next five minutes think about long and hard.
But honestly if your thinking about candy, your messed up! ha but I really do challenge everyone to take time and just think about easter.

Actually, Easter is about about eggs, candy, and bunnies because its a pagan holiday.

Resurrection Sunday, is when we (I) give reverence to Jesus Christ for dieing on the cross, raising the third day, and setting me free from sin.

Easter, which the masses celebrate, is not the name for Resurrection Sunday, a lot of people just use the same name to describe both of these separate "holidays."

But I wonder, what do "they" really celebrate on Easter? A big chocolate bunny? What's the point?
 
i don`t know about others but for me easter is just about jesus when he died just for us it is abig occasion that worth to celebrate in,but of course there`s candy ,bunnies ,eggs and i think these things play a second roll in easter but it`s fun so no problem if there are like these things without forgetting the ral meaning of easter GOD BLESS U ALL AND HAPPY EASTER
 
Easter is indeed a solemn time, but it is also joyful. We celebrate Jesus rising from the grave, spending some last few precious moments with those who knew Him most.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." He is not some austere cranky neighbour yelling at us to keep it down, and I'm quite positive that the laughter of children and happy families as they hunt for a few pieces of candy is like music to His ears.

Of course we must remember the anguish and pain He felt as He died for us. But we must also remember that, three days later, He rose again. And that is something to celebrate, indeed.

yeah i posted before on a similar thread.....the eggs and bunnies i think were celebrated by Pagans to a certain goddess but now it is the day Jesus conquered DEATH YA PRAISE GOD BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

Also have you heard about saint patrick.....i heard that it is suppose to be 3 leaf clovers not 4 to be lucky. i heard that three was to represent the Trinity that is why it is lucky but we silly old americans made up the whole 4 leaf being lucky lol :)
