Thanks for asking, I certainly didn't mean that.
No problem, it's better to ask someone to clarify what they mean rather than just assume.

Sharing your faith is not an option for Christians. Romans 10. Love doesn't leave someone in their sin and destiny of hell. There's still time to do what's right.
You'll be held accountable for your sphere of influence. Those are your talents. Look up the parable of the talents in the gospels. Don't waste your shares in heaven and lose your reward.
You are sadly mistaken about your gifts and purpose. All the gifts are all intended to spread God's Word. It's the only hope for all of mankind.
If someone ends up at the judgement bar as you described, it's too late! We are all called to preach the gospel and make disciples.
If you think that what you believe as you said is true, but maybe not for them. Then you're not convinced of what you believe.
You are not supposed to go around telling people that they're going to hell. But they are and you are the one there to draw them to Jesus.
You don't understand lucifers fall or your roll as a christian.
Study your bible to show your approved. 2 Timothy 2
Me too. I get a letter from Bill everyday too. I don't like him.I just paid a really large bill. I feel like all I do is pay bills. No one ever mails me happy things. It's always bills. Bills stress me out. I don't like dealing with money or bills.
All I have to say is that for a young mom of 3 small children, being the witness of Christ to those small children; protecting them, training them, and loving them like God loves his children, is her first and most important calling. Her ministry should be centered on her family. There would be nothing spiritual or godly about her neglecting her family to do "more spiritual" things.

Dear Photobucket,
We had a lengthy relationship stretching back to 2005 when I first had the notion to turn my hobby into a revenue stream. Back then, you were pleasant and accommodating. Recently though, you had become nagging, bloated, slow, and I couldn't get you to perform your basic duties without hearing about how if only I'd give you money, all the issues would be solved.
Unfortunately for you, dearest, I am disinclined to acquiesce to this request. I'm breaking up with you. I won't tell you "it's not you, it's me", because it's you. It's totally you.
Goodbye.
Jon
I agree, but you don't have to neglect and leave your children to answer the door and give a quick word.
Having said that. It would not be appropriate for her to answer and engage the young men missionaries, as Timothy warns of those who go two by two targeting women. Notice they do most of their work in the day when the menare working. Devils!
But reaching out to other women is certainly her responsibility. She wants to try a business idea.
I watch ladies do that all the time.
I'm in the market for a new photo repository. Choosing the right one is like choosing a romantic partner, and I don't have very good luck with either. Websites, like women, need to meet certain criteria for me to accept them. I'm too old for the fun and fast ones. I'm too out of the loop for the trendy ones. I need the website equivalent of a gentle hand, snarky humor, and a good turkey sammich.

The issue on this thread isn't style. It has been diverted to that from a more difficult issue.
It wasn't directed at you and I agree that scripture is certainly not legalism... but... when somebody says you will go to hell if you don't.... then that's legalism. Not sure where you're coming from on this, or if it was even directed at me.
If so, I'll just say obeying Jesus Christ's command to "go forth and preach the gospel to every creature", whether by something dramatic like door to door evangelism, or something subtle like helping someone in need, is not legalism. It's literally most of our job description (and supposed to be our character description, too).
How someone helps people make it to Heaven and points them to Christ is between them and God, but it is vitally important that that is what we're doing, whatever it looks like.
"Well, if they just so happen to find out about Jesus and make it to heaven, that's just swell" or "Not my problem" is not an attitude of agape love, nor does it exalt Christ.
If you'd like to start threads on the topics you've been talking to, you're more than welcome to--could generate some interesting discussion.
But Streams is geared toward sharing what's happening in our days and regular lives... patting each other on the back for encouragement and support... praying for, edifying, and validating what other people are going through.
It's kind of a catch-all "I'm going through such-and-such and need to talk to someone" or "I had this really cool moment I wanted to share with everyone" with a positive, upbeat, and "Way to Go!" attitude.
Speaking of which... Has anyone seen/talked to Lil' Christian? I haven't seen her in ages...![]()
