No more prophets. Only witnesses who hold to the testimony of JESUS

There is NOTHING that needs to be added to the story of mankind's salvation. God did not leave anything out in the story of mankind's salvation in, by and through HIS SON

There are no more prophets in the sense of foretelling, but only forth telling
Pardon me miknik5, please read the above point.

"No more prophets" was not in quotes. I did not intend to offend you sir. You appear
to not hold to your posts, and not mean what you write it appears.

I suggest you take more care to not be agressive when english grammer is not your high point, lol.

I myself make simple mistakes, but I do not get offended if taken the wrong way, that would take
tooooooo long especially on cc ....

You take yourself so seriously...is the point worth less than your pride.

It is going to take a few hard knocks until you realise were are much less than
the truth, the Jesus is the truth.

It is a Pharisaic spirit with some of them. Some people in this world have a know-it-all attitude and when they get saved, their attitude never changes. It becomes a stumbling block in their lives because they never leave room for the Spirit to work in love - it's always, "I'm right and you're wrong." That's all they have is their pride in what they've read in God's word.

I speak from personal experience. God had to mold me and shape me through many struggles and trials to help me see I wasn't helping advance His kingdom just because I knew a lot. But when He works through me, I can do all things - even love my enemies.

I tell you of a certainty, I don't need to be called a prophet. I don't need to be called anything. I don't need to brag or boast. As I've said before, I wish I had many good things to prophesy about what is to come. Jesus is coming back, but the time between now and then will be terrible. The worst times on Earth. Every Christian knows this. But, the things I've said will come to pass, in the name of the Lord Jesus I declare them. So, when they do come to pass, you will know they were from the Lord - not from some other God or some other spirit.

right

keep telling yourselves those things

self appointed prophets never acknowledge that perhaps, just perhaps, others hear the voice of God...even better than they think they do

that is a very common occurrence...

you call yourself a prophet...NO ONE here has called you one

perhaps if you had received a warmer welcome, you would still be saying what you said in your op

you don't get it

PM me and I will speak with you. I'll pray that the Lord guides me in how to respond to you and to lead you on the right path according to His word and His Spirit. That's all I can do - I'm no fortune-teller or seer and I've never claimed to be.

But I do love those who put the Lord Jesus first and are all about Him. May His name be glorified above all the Heavens and the Earth and may all the world know that He alone is God! That is the desire of my heart :)
Oh good! I will pm you.

LOL!

I don't need anyone here to call me a prophet. I don't care if anyone calls me a prophet. EVER. It's a calling from God, I don't need yours or anyone else's permission lol!

Let me ask you a question. Why do you love the Lord Jesus Christ (if you do)?

Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Pardon me but you kept on about it so my most recent response putting "prophets" in quotes should have led you to understand that I had to further clarify what had been said when I said no more prophets only witnesses

And you now add that we are to test the spirits to make sure they don't contradict HIS FIRST WITNESSES?

So when HIS FIRST WITNESSES were being taught by GOD all the things that were hidden they were as "prophets" revealing all the hidden truths that were hidden until the SPIRIT of CHRIST had been fully poured out upon those who would believe whom HE would send as HIS WITNESSES to HIS disciples who have believed in HIM who would be led by HIS SPIRIT: those disciples yesterday, today and tomorrow who all hold to THE TESTIMONY of JESUS and testify to THE TRUTH which GOD has revealed by HIS SPIRIT to those whom HE has called to testify to and point all to HIS SON so that men might be reconciled to GOD. First and foremost in by and through THE SON

The call of the "prophets" remains:
If today you hear HIS voice harden not your hearts

And CHRIST said for judgement I have come.

And that will be the division between the two
So no amount of prophecying "safety" to those who have not even entered THAT REFUGE provided by GOD can save

Indeed.

I seek only the glory of Christ and not my own. Let He and He alone be lifted up, for He is God in the flesh. I must decrease so that He may increase. I am a flea on a dead dog compared to the Living God, yet He loves me.

Let God judge me. He knows me best. My life has been far from wholesome, but I seek that His kingdom come, not my own.

But, do not forget, that God gave birth to the true prophets and they are His and there are still plenty of them in this world.

Because HE has provided to us HIS PROMISE and HIS PROMISE is steadfast and sure.

Remember Hebrews 11

And ALL GOD's PROMISES are YES and AMEN to those who are in CHRIST JESUS

For I am convinced (just as Paul was) that NOTHING can separate us from the lLOVE of GOD which has been revealed to us in the ONE WHOM HE LOVES

The gospel is about entering into the Kingdom of heaven. You become part of a family,
and in all families there are roles for specific messages or encouragement.

John in revelation shows this when writing about the 7 churches. This equally could be
said about the "churches" today and certainly about the prosperity gospel and all the
believe and be healed group.

And I do not think there will ever be an end to revelation. What we know now is much
greater than what we knew in the past. As this context changes so does how we express
the message itself. Take for instance views of the role of women in the church or homosexuality,
all of which are very difficult subjects. What about sex change operations, and how you deal
with abusive partners. What about sexual behaviour itself and choosing a partner.

Now there are things that have made such behaviour "safer", and many loving parents have
gay children, or ones with other dilemmas. We certainly need more clarity than just a simplistic
that is sin. Or maybe your view is still in the more simplistic views of the past.

You are right about ONE THING only

ONE TRUTH
ONE GOSPEL

And not to go beyond that

Do you have any control or say on who will enter THE KINGDOM
And do you have the right to change THE TRUTH of THE TRUTH

Do you have a right to offer half THE TRUTH or be evasive about THE TRUTH

Tell me, by what "way" must ALL men (with No exceptions) enter?

I would ask you to consider this and not just answer of your own accord. Why did God make pastors, and preachers, and apostles if we could just pick up the Bible, do a public reading, and call that the be-all end-all to scriptural ministry?

I will answer the question. It's because those people are called by God to reach the lost and to feed His flock and they have special God-given skill sets that expound and bring to life the Word of God to the hearer and they have surrendered them to fulfill God's will on Earth. It's the same with a prophet.

My view is what was from the beginning and hasn't changed

It is what has washed and made me clean

I can't wash anyone and I certainly can't baptize anyone into myself. So what should I tell those who haven't yet entered the Kingdom what they should "do"

ONE HOUSE/ONE BODY correct?

How must all enter?

For the building up of The Body until we all reach the unity of the faith. Directed in and on HIM in all seasons in all situations in all circumstances

What we began in is what we will end in
From faith----->to faith
From first ----->to last

And these "righteous" shall live by faith!

1 John 2
If what you began in remains in you, you too will remain in both the father and the son

And this is what he promised us

Even eternal life

I know what I began in

Do you?
