I think it's funny what everyone thinks a prophet should be or what a prophet is. Haha! I really do.

And with all the hatred that you pour out against me, I could say you're not acting like Christians. I've repeated umpteenth times the reason I posted this thread and so very few of the posters here have addressed it. And I've repeated plenty of times that I don't care what you think of me, I didn't come here to get your approval. God (the Holy Spirit) already told me I would not be accepted and that I would be the unheard prophet.

I'm more concerned about the spiritual cannibalism you got going on here: cutting me down and hating me even though I'm a fellow servant in the Lord. It's a very antiChrist spirit to pretend you know better than Christ. Ask yourselves, would Jesus have you speaking to me the way you're speaking to me? If I'm wrong and I'm a liar, then nothing will happen and God will deal with me accordingly. I'm fine with that - He knows my heart and my mind and my soul. If I'm right (and I am), then America will be destroyed in a nuclear holocaust at the hands of Russia and I'll be proven right and it will be proven that I was indeed prophesying - and yet, what was the point in knowing? What was the point in being a prophet since no one would listen and everyone disregarded and ridiculed me? THOSE questions are the meat of this thread.
Do I need to know all that stuff to be a prophet? Did Balaam's donkey need a degree to speak sense to Balaam? Did Melchizedek graduate from seminary?

I've been involved with youth/teen ministry in several churches for over a decade. I've spoken, preached, taught, prayed, I've written a Christian fiction book, and served in whatever way I can. I've spent a lot of time witnessing to atheists and prodigals. I've handed out Gospel tracks and I've done international missionary work and many, many other ministry outreaches. I go to church (non-denominational) faithfully and we have a Pastor who is a great leader. I don't subscribe to many religious doctrines or tenets (pre-tribulation rapture, eternal suffering in fire, and many others) and have many beliefs of my understanding of God's word that are unique from others, but I don't spend time shoving them down other people's throats or use them as an occasion to ostracize another Christian because they don't believe 100% like I do. Everything I believe comes from the Word of God, though I don't talk about it like a lawyer, because Jesus rarely did.

I've alread said, over and over and over, I didn't come here to find acceptance about what God has called me to speak about and I've said repeatedly that I don't care if you don't believe me. You're the one who keeps bringing that up and you and Lauren have yet to address the question that is the title of the thread. Plainly give an answer and leave me and this thread alone if you don't want to believe what God has spoken through me.
Can you speak a little more on Melchizadek

You tell God that, not me.

You can say what you want. Don't call me a prophet. I don't need a title to declare the Word of the Lord and what shall come to pass.

Good riddance you sower of discord among the brethren.

all you fake prophet types enjoy calling names and threatening people

you have done well

There's not much to speak about him that hasn't been covered in Genesis, Psalm 110, and Hebrews.

I'm pretty confident he didn't attend seminary.

Sir, there is much much more to MELCHIZADEK

Maybe you should ask those you fellowship with about him?

You might also want to ask about ZERUBABBEL as well

And you are wrong,I posted Scripture that shows you who will Judge every nation, every tribe and every tongue...are you getting it yet!?!?

You are judged as a False prophet because nothing you speak lines up with the written Word of God, that is rule number we are taught to judge someone calling themselves a Prophet of God.

God does not do any judging, all authority, including judgement, is given to his son Jesus Christ.

The world is on fire as it always has been.

Offering our own private interpretations of God’s interpretation the scriptures has nothing to do with being called a prophet . Its offering a personal commentary .Everyone has one like finger prints

A prophet is someone who declares the existing will of God as it is written.

It not us who determines who has an opinion closer to what God is informing us. In regard to that we are informed there must be heresy (personal opinions) among us.

1Corinthians 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

It’s his approval we are to seek after not that of each other through our own private interpretation

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2Pe 1:20

There is a simple reason for prophets, they are speaking the voice of God.
It is not so much about the future but about the present.

Mainly the message is dealing with problems or issues in society and a need to repent.

Now if someone says "I am called to be a prophet" and also says, "I do not see the point"
I suggest they are mistaken.

Prophets had the heart of God, got upset about how people behaved and why, and were
stirred to seek God on these issues, and then proclaim the response.

As Christians in a sense we are all prophets, preaching Christ and the need to repent and
get right with the Father.

I wondered if the role of prophets had died out, but there were prophets in the church
in the book of acts so I would say, no they have not.

Your earlier racist remark, your hatefulness, your bitterness, and your self-righteousness are a stink in the nose of God.

To speak to people like you speak to people (and I've read your replies to other people's posts) is not of God. I'm the chief of sinners, so I'm not here to condemn you but I must point out that you are far from being one to judge righteous judgement on the things of the Lord. Turn from that spirit of bitterness and self-righteousness and humble yourself if you care about the things of God at all. I shouldn't have to say this to one who is older than I and claims to know so much.

Love thy neighbor. It was a command, not an option. And it didn't come with a bullet point of reasons why you shouldn't have to obey it - even when someone says something you don't agree with. You are supposed to restore a brother in a spirit of gentleness if they are wrong. You've only came at me with daggers and then had the gall to try to say I was to blame because of what God has called me to.

I could understand your anger towards me if I had at any point or at any time sought to lead someone astray with some false prophecy or altered Gospel or anything of the sort, but I did no such thing. Your bitterness towards me is unfounded and ungodly. I fear the Living God. I wouldn't make such bold claims if I didn't believe they were the truth. And anyone who knows me would know that about me.

2 Chronicles 36: 15-17
[SUP]15 [/SUP]The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. [SUP]16 [/SUP]But they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Therefore he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or aged. He gave them all into his hand.

Beware what you speak against. The same God who did that to Israel, His beloved people, has planned much more to chastise America and to make an end of her.

I hope if you respond, you don't resort to more defending and blame-shifting for the way you've spoken to me and others. There are billions of lost people out there, you don't have to spend your time and energy being hateful to a fellow brother in Christ on the internet.

God is not going to punish me because I say you are not a prophet

your post indicates you have not been called by God..God does not curse believers and those who cannot take correction pretty much end up in the mess they made themselvles

you obviously cannot contain your anger...and quoting OT scripture is ridiculous

you don't have a clue what a prophet is, never mind that you think you are one

you are quite passive aggressive it seems

Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers.
Acts 15:32

After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.

After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.
Acts 21:10
And furthermore:

Act 2:17 "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."

Yet, when people's sons and daughters prophesy, and when their young men see visions, and when their old men dream dreams, they're called fakes.

I won't sit here and argue with people anymore about who I am or what God has called me to say. I've said repeatedly that I knew I was to be the unheard prophet. I knew that people would ridicule me and reject what I had to say, so I'm not offended or surprised. Sad for y'all, but not angry. I love y'all and will see you in glory. There will be no ill feelings of your rejection of me, but you will know I was right.

The message has never changed. Repent and believe on Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and keep his commands. For He is the Living God in the flesh. If you want to save your life from what is coming, you must leave America. I don't know when destruction will come, but it will come like a thief in the night. Every day is a day closer.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and make you fruitful. Go out and win your neighbors over to Christ! Bring them into the family of bitter, bickering, hateful, resentful Christian forum people [sarcasm meant for a certain clique of people on here btw]. For real, love them and lift them up and live in such a way that our Heavenly Father would be proud to call you His. And live in such a way that when you meet Him face to face, He will say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

And a final word for all the know-it-alls, you have a very Pharisaic spirit to you. Beware that you not drive off fellow Christians or those seeking a deeper walk with the Lord with your bitter, hateful attitudes. Not that you'll be punished or go to hell or anything, but it is shameful for the church of our Lord to speak to people in such a way and to treat them in such a way.

The fact you resort to name calling, twisting of scripture and throwing a temper tantrum proves your character is not inline with ANY calling.

also the fact he has no knowledge of Melchizedek is pretty revealing

he basically just writes him off

NO actual prophet or Bible scholar would ever do that

ignorance is not bliss here...it is revealing and astounding!

When did I "write him off"?

I said the Bible has already said all there is to say about him. The Bible, as far as I'm aware, is the only place we have any scriptural information about him and it's already expounded upon by Paul in Hebrews. What else is there to say that wouldn't be the equivalent of my prophesying - since scripture gives us nothing else about him?

You enjoy trolling Christian forums, you and Eph610? I've almost reached the conclusion that you're one and the same person. You both seem to spend equal time and energy trolling my thread to say hateful, rude things about me. What purpose does it serve? I'm no fool (except a fool for Christ.)

Furthermore, anyone reading this thread can quite easily see that I've neither said nor acted in a spiteful, vengeful way and that you both have been nonstop hammering me for no reason other than your own bitter attitudes. Let all who have discernment see what is at work here.

Scripture compels us all to correct those in error...The fact you cannot discern between correction and call it hammering, mean, rude, spiteful, vengeful and crying a river about it and then claiming it is persecution proves you are a Babe in Christ.

The fact is we are not the same person, and the fact you think so shows you are paranoid and making up conjecture to defend yourself. Maybe we are a spiritual version of Priscilla and Aquilla.

I have had encounters with many like you. They come to me and say, I am Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher and like you they have zero spiritual maturity, the love of God has never been shed abroad in the Heart by the Holy Spirit and when you attempt to shape them, build them and correct them, they act out like you have.

The NT Prophets I know dont announce who they are, we know them by their fruit and by the confirmations of what they have said. They have paid a heavy, heavy price for their calling and sending into the Prophetic ministry and don't go around flaunting it like you have. At the end of the day, if they come to a meeting and if they don't prophesy, operate in revelation, vocal and power gifts towards anyone, and simply preach and teach, they are content in doing that, because above all, a truly called and sent Prophet is about pointing people back towards God and teaching people to discern, listen and hear God for themselves.

Come to full age Son, your arrogance is writing checks your wannabe anointing will not cash.

ain't that the truth

when God trains a person, he really rubs hard on the rough spots...till the image of His Son shines through...and then you start to see a hint of Jesus here or there...you see a change..

so much could be said

above all, a truly called and sent Prophet is about pointing people back towards God and teaching people to discern, listen and hear God for themselves.

The message has never changed.
The message has not changed, but to express it meaningfully each culture needs its
own language. This is why a living witness is so important to bridge the gap.

After reading this thread, I wonder how you as a "prophet" see yourself differently than
any other christian? If there is actually no difference why did you start this thread?
