Spare us the false humility and backtrack and make believe persecution. A true Prophet could defend himself with the Sword of the Spirit. You are no prophet and I used the Word to prove that to everyone.
I have no false humility. Only humility. I don't have to make believe persecution. I face enough of it in real life. And I don't like to waste my time defending myself by being belligerent and loud. I've been witnessing to atheists for long enough I've learned a few things about how to spend my time more wisely.

I didn't come here to get yours or anyone else's approval. And as far as I'm aware, the OT prophets were prophets of the same God as the NT prophets. I'm not here to sell books (even though I've written one) or buckets of chicken. I'm not here to sell anything. Period.

I don't understand why my Christian brothers and sisters are so quick to hate me though. I'm one of you. I'm your fellow servant in the Lord. I wish I were everyone's idea of the perfect Christian and prophet so I could appease everyone. John the Baptist didn't want to baptize Jesus, yet no one here says, "If John had been a prophet, he would have known to baptize Jesus without question". John also sent his disciples to ask Jesus whether He was the Messiah even after he had baptized him and no one here says, "If John was a prophet, he should have known Jesus was the Messiah." Jesus said of those born of woman, none were greater than John the Baptist. But if I ask a question of my calling, I'm fake.

I think it's funny what everyone thinks a prophet should be or what a prophet is. Haha! I really do.

And with all the hatred that you pour out against me, I could say you're not acting like Christians. I've repeated umpteenth times the reason I posted this thread and so very few of the posters here have addressed it. And I've repeated plenty of times that I don't care what you think of me, I didn't come here to get your approval. God (the Holy Spirit) already told me I would not be accepted and that I would be the unheard prophet.

I'm more concerned about the spiritual cannibalism you got going on here: cutting me down and hating me even though I'm a fellow servant in the Lord. It's a very antiChrist spirit to pretend you know better than Christ. Ask yourselves, would Jesus have you speaking to me the way you're speaking to me? If I'm wrong and I'm a liar, then nothing will happen and God will deal with me accordingly. I'm fine with that - He knows my heart and my mind and my soul. If I'm right (and I am), then America will be destroyed in a nuclear holocaust at the hands of Russia and I'll be proven right and it will be proven that I was indeed prophesying - and yet, what was the point in knowing? What was the point in being a prophet since no one would listen and everyone disregarded and ridiculed me? THOSE questions are the meat of this thread.
voiceinthewind,

It just seems that you have not taken into account all the history and circumstances of the writings that you refer to.

It seems like you are taking them out of context and applying them exclusively to our modern times.

And I did ask you for scriptures that would link Babylon directly with the USA.

You may not care what people think of you but you did ask for opinions.
Still you say you don't understand why people have responded the way
they have. And yet have not all prophets been treated the same way?
The precedence for how you are being treated is rife throughout Scripture.

The continual attacks on me and the message are completely irrelevant to the question of the thread.

But thank you for you kind understanding.

Did you read posts #98 and #99? Read those posts and it's laid out as clear as I could make it. Sorry the format didn't turn out well. I tried to edit them, but it was too late and I didn't understand how at the time. They're an eyesore I know.

I'm not saying God is doing that. As far as I'm aware, God's judgment of this country is a one and done. He could be using natural disasters to pour out judgment on us, but He didn't impress that idea upon me.
And you are wrong,I posted Scripture that shows you who will Judge every nation, every tribe and every tongue...are you getting it yet!?!?

You are judged as a False prophet because nothing you speak lines up with the written Word of God, that is rule number we are taught to judge someone calling themselves a Prophet of God.

God does not do any judging, all authority, including judgement, is given to his son Jesus Christ.

The world is on fire as it always has been.

A prophet is first and foremost obedient to God....so the purpose a prophet tells what he/she hears from God is because they are supposed to do so out of obedience to God. What good it does for others is for God to determine the how's, why's and wherefore's......

You seem like a very bitter and hateful person. I never said anyone should act like that. In fact, I've reiterated just the opposite over and over.

Everything I've said has agreed that God is doing the judging. So not in disagreement with you on that.

Please tell me where nothing I say lines up with the written Word of God please. And not some obscure, way out in left field, subjective interpretation.

Ah I get it now. There's actually trolls that spend time on the Christian forums to hate on anyone and anything that is said.

I actually thought you were my fellow brethren here. Let God separate the sheep from the goats.

Lauren was very hateful and bitter towards me and made an openly racist comment that would offend millions. She said the Asian equivalent of n*gg*r. Anyone who talks openly like that is not coming from a spirit of love. I went through and read some of her previous posts as well, she doesn't speak kindly to anyone. That is not the fruits of the Spirit. We're supposed to do good to all men, especially those of the household of faith. You're not doing much better yourself, hoss.

We know prophets only from the Bible, we can't meet a real one in our life time to give a correct judgment on what a prophet is. Even in the Bible, prophets seldom talked about how they are assured of the messages from God.

From our life time experience on the other hand, we receive God's messages from the guidance of the Holy Spirit. However, it by no means says that the way God communicates with us is the same way He chooses to communicate with His prophets.

I myself am aware of ways which convey messages much more unambiguously. The verse I listed (Acts 14:3) represents one of these ways.

of course you can tell who has authentic gift!

we do not know prophets only from the Bible

if scripture states someone is a prophet...meaning those in the Bible, why would we need any other authentication?

the prophets did not know they were contributing to the OT, so I don't find you are offering a viable disagreement

discernment and a working knowledge of the truth...from scripture...can easily determine the truth

Even in the Bible, prophets seldom talked about how they are assured of the messages from God.
really? you do not have any actual idea about that. the Bible itself says they were called by God and they usually state 'the word of the Lord came to me'

the op is not a prophet and the US is not mystery Babylon

just another person trying to be important

Mr. Prophet, it is FRUIT of the Spirit, not FRUITS.....

At the risk of getting you really annoyed let me ask you....

What revelation and vocal gifts have you or do you operate in?

Do you preach and teach the word of God on a regular basis?

Do you understand the difference between forth-telling and foretelling?

Do you know what an in season word and step-ordering word is and how they are different and How the Holy Spirit directs you to give them to people?

Do you understand what words of edification, exhortation & comfort mean and how these apply to the Prophetic ministry today.

Do you encourage people?

Do you teach people how to discern, hear and listen for God themselves?

Do you empower a persons call and sending into ministry by discerning by the Holy Spirit what their gifts are and teaching them what they are and how to use them for the kingdom?

Do you understand how impartation fits into the prophetic ministry?

Do you spend a lot of time in prayer and intercession for anything?

Does your preaching and teaching point people to be all that God says they are and called them to be?

If no gifts manifest through you and no prophecy comes from you mouth, are you content to just preach, teach, heal, deliver and demonstrate the kingdom of God?

If you are planted in a local church, who has the authority over the House, besides Jesus....a prophet or the pastor?

Are you used in the local Church to judge other revelation/vocal/power gifts when the Spirit manifests them through others?

Being a prophet is much more than....thus saith the Lord, the USA will burn up in a nuke attack from Russia....

You're a hateful old racist. Why would anyone listen to what you have to say?

You're very presumptuous in thinking you know me, what I know, or what I've been through.

I didn't come to here to toot my own horn or to glory in this. I came to ask a question and that was the point of this thread: "What is the point in being a prophet?" No one listens, people ridicule you, you're hated by your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, people think you're an idiot, etc, etc. Seriously, you can give me your uppity retorts of "A prophet wouldn't ask such questions" "If you were a prophet, you'd know that already" "If you knew the word of God, you wouldn't ask such questions", but in the end, I see no point in warning people of what is to come if they're not going to listen anyway.

Unless America suddenly repents and turns from every wicked thing they're doing and God graciously pushes off His judgment to another generation, there is no hope for those who remain in this country. I'm sorry. That's just how it is. All I've said will come to pass and, regardless of how you feel about it or your opinion about it, only a national repentance might have a chance of sparing us what is to come. And as I said before in this thread, when these things come to pass, it will verify what I've said is from the Lord and, unfortunately, those sitting here reading this will most likely not be alive to confirm it. But then it will have been too late to heed the words of the prophets (not my words - they're what is plainly says in God's word; see posts #98 and #99).

Continue to deny me, continue to mock me, continue to say I'm not a prophet - I really don't care. I didn't come to this site to get anyone's approval or anyone's blessing. I knew full well that I would not be received - that's the whole point of the question behind this thread. I know what I say will come to pass, I'm not worried about being wrong. I'm more worried that I'm right.
Then point all generations to the EVERLASTING, FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION "HOPE" THAT IS ETERNAL

voiceinthewind,

Ok, I've read it four times now and I still see no real scriptural evidence directly connecting Babylon to the USA.

You'll have to come up with solid scriptures linking the two together,

Otherwise it is just opinion.

What do you think, about some of the things that are said, on the other prophecy threads on the BDF?

Do I need to know all that stuff to be a prophet? Did Balaam's donkey need a degree to speak sense to Balaam? Did Melchizedek graduate from seminary?

I've been involved with youth/teen ministry in several churches for over a decade. I've spoken, preached, taught, prayed, I've written a Christian fiction book, and served in whatever way I can. I've spent a lot of time witnessing to atheists and prodigals. I've handed out Gospel tracks and I've done international missionary work and many, many other ministry outreaches. I go to church (non-denominational) faithfully and we have a Pastor who is a great leader. I don't subscribe to many religious doctrines or tenets (pre-tribulation rapture, eternal suffering in fire, and many others) and have many beliefs of my understanding of God's word that are unique from others, but I don't spend time shoving them down other people's throats or use them as an occasion to ostracize another Christian because they don't believe 100% like I do. Everything I believe comes from the Word of God, though I don't talk about it like a lawyer, because Jesus rarely did.

I've alread said, over and over and over, I didn't come here to find acceptance about what God has called me to speak about and I've said repeatedly that I don't care if you don't believe me. You're the one who keeps bringing that up and you and Lauren have yet to address the question that is the title of the thread. Plainly give an answer and leave me and this thread alone if you don't want to believe what God has spoken through me.

You tell God that, not me.

You can say what you want. Don't call me a prophet. I don't need a title to declare the Word of the Lord and what shall come to pass.

Good riddance you sower of discord among the brethren.

The point in being a "prophet" was to turn the hearts of the people back to know HIM

The call of all the "prophets" was "if today you hear HIS VOICE harden not your hearts"
