Those friskies (tm) advertisements don't know what they are talking about. That's not the way cats think.

Why do people post questions about their spouse or bf/gf relationships in the singles forum...? It's not that we don't have great advice and life experience to give, it just seems to me, if you are looking for couple advice your first place to post would not be the singles forum. And when I say this I'm speaking of someone who has never posted in any of these forums. I think people that post here, in singles, often - asking for advice is natural and normal because over time you develop some a connection with each other and trust the advice of each other. That's my random thought for the morning.

Can someone please tell the wasps to leave Norway? It's finally a warm day but you can't sit outdoors for two minutes before a wasp (or three) starts bugging you, and they refuse to go away!

When I first read this, I actually thought you meant W.A.S.P's (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants.)

Forgive me, wwjd.

It's probably because of all the political talk going on everyday here in the USA.

Hey Son,

I totally get what you're saying :). But sometimes, Singles seems like one of the safest places to post in.

I also think that Singles is also seen as a "Single Lifestyle" forum--as in, singles come here to talk about the the lifestyle of a single, with single meaning, "someone who isn't married", and so there are many posts about dating and relationships here.

Although I haven't been in a relationship during my time on CC, I have to confess to making several posts about dates gone wrong. :p

There are also many people here who have been in Singles for a while, and so they'll tell us what's going on in their lives, because Singles has kind of a "Coffee House Like on the Show 'Friends'" kind of vibe--people come in, plop themselves downon the couch, and tell us the latest, which may also include news about their recent bf or gf.

Actually, that's the part I do get. I understand the coffee house sit down and talk about life vibe. I think that's pretty awesome and it's nice to have a place to do that. And where else would you post about dates gone wrong? Haha, I think this is the perfect forum for that. ;) That's not what I'm speaking of. I'm talking about the woman or man having marital problems. People who aren't a part of this community normally. That's the part that confuses me.

Heh... I'm sorry... I guess I misunderstood, Son.

I vaguely recall the thread you're talking about--I just sort of glance over things nowadays and sometimes I miss things... Sorry...

Maybe the person starting it is a new user and doesn't realize there's a Family Forum? That seems to happen a lot.

Was that the one with both zombies and a deadly virus?

I don't think they are zombies. Aren't zombies the dead coming back to life? These are people infected. But they behave similar to zombies. The ones from WWZ don't eat people though. It's kind of a sci-fi horror film.

My favorite part in that crazy movie is when the scientist is behind the glass cube and starts growling like a lion....lmbo.....would be a perfect snickers commercial...."this is what happens when you don't eat a snickers" or "hungry?"and then the lady starts growling and you throw a snickers bar to her through the isolation slot and she becomes human/sane again lol...

Yea I was bored by it otherwise than the part where the scientist lady is behind a glass isolation cube growling lol....I laughed at that part really hard....otherwise the rest was forgetable/not worth remembering...
