Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

For the cause of Christ

There is a kingdom of Heaven and a Kingdom of God and they are both very different.

John 18 talks about the kingdom of Heaven, which is the abode of God, where Jesus sits at the right hand.

Luke 17.20-21 Jesus says the Kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God is not coming to this earth I do not care how much Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, C. Peter Wagner and the other people that teach this want it to be so.

You are born again with Gods grace, what more can you possible want. His grace is sufficient for us.
Jesus said this to the Pharisees about the Kingdom of God on earth:
Luke 17.20-21
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; [SUP]21 [/SUP]nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you"

There are 2 Kingdoms of God:

The Kingdom of Heaven is the abode of God and where Jesus sits at his right hand and a kingdom we cannot see.

Jesus said the kingdom of God is within us and this is the visible kingdom today which is in every believer and that Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings of.

This teaching is largely missed and not taught much, but it is based on what Jesus said in Luke 17.
Many false prophets have distorted this Biblical truth into outright foolishness, insisting the Kingdom of God is about meat, drink, money, fame and prestige and spiritually manipulation.

The KOG inside of us is showing the world Jesus Christ and what he did for us.

There 2 Kingdoms of Darkness

The Kingdom of Satan and his fallen followers, which we cannot see

The kingdom of Darkness which we can see.

I absolutely agree and well stated, thank you for elaborating on this!

Peter you do realize they have already hugged and accepted each other as children of God, right?
No need to get all judgemental on Ben.
Might want to pray more before posting.
Ben intention is not polarize but to encourage people to walk in the spiritual gifts God has given all His children.
He does not say those things to say "I am better than you" but "look how wonderful God is, He wants you to be this great and powerful to be able set the captives free too."
I don't agree with everything Ben says but his heart seeks God, so I call him brother.
What I wrote is self explanatory. I was not being condemning, I was just playing
what had been written.

I am just showing what is going down, and the feelings behind the scenes.
What is being said is follow my version of faith and you will be a spiritual
superman. Sure thing my friends. What I see is pompous money making
rackets.

I don't agree.

Kingdom of Heaven was written to Jews because they didn't use the name God.

The phrase “kingdom of Heaven” occurs thirty-two (32) times and only in the Gospel of Matthew.

We see they are the same in this Scripture here:

“the kingdom of Heaven is at hand” (Matt. 4:17) || “the kingdom of God is at hand” (Mark 1:15)

Here:

Matthew 13:33 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”

Luke 13:20, 21; Again he said, “To what should I compare the kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”

And finally in even in Matthew 19 we see the terms used interchangeably here:

19:23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven!

19:24 Again I say, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God.”

There is a kingdom of Heaven and a Kingdom of God and they are both very different.

This reply shows you do not understand what I am saying.

The Kingdom of God is spiritual. It only becomes "physical" when we obey Him.

WE are in the world, but not OF the world.

His Kingdom is not of this world. But are you in His Kingdom? Yes or no?

And finally once again, you ignore Scriptures by Paul that affirms he walks in the Kingdom of God now.

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Cee,

I used to do the very same thing, until a very old wise pastor pulled me aside and showed me something.
To Rightly divide Jesus words in the Gospels with the Acts of the Apostles and most importantly the Epistles of Paul, Peter, James & John.

The Gospels tell us who Jesus was and how ministered, The Epistles give us revelation of the 2 kingdoms.

Never ever forget what Paul wrote to us was from direct revelation and the mind of Christ Jesus. Paul Tell's us the great mystery of the kingdom of God in one of His Epistles.

Don't get caught up in the theology of communicated Bible Knowledge.

Do you go to the kingdom of Heaven all the time? or are you bringing heaven to earth through the kingdom of God?

In your zealousness to be right, you have contradicted yourself...slow down brother.

You are still talking about a place, but I am not talking about a place.

So in answer to your question and my supposed "contradiction", I don't "go to" the Kingdom of God/Heaven.

And thank you for your other post, but actually I do rightly divide the "Word" with the words of Jesus, Acts, and also the Epistles.

I really do not think it's fair for you to say:

1. I don't rightly divide the Word without referring specifically to the Scriptures I showed you. I explained to you why Matthew is the ONLY Book to use the words Kingdom of Heaven. It's because of his Jewish audience. I also showed you in Luke where the two terms are used interchangeably. But instead of replying to these Scriptures you tell me I'm not rightly dividing the Word? And I'm the one with the zeal to be right only? How about you address the Scriptures I showed you. Since you know how to rightly "divide the Word".

2. The Kingdom of God is connected with the Will of God when Jesus tells us how to pray. Jesus says, pray for His Kingdom to come and to pray for His Will to be done here on Earth as it is IN Heaven. That's why Scripture says the Kingdom of God is IN the Holy Spirit. And Jesus says the Kingdom of God is within you, and among you later. If you have a different conclusion that takes in the ENTIRETY of Scripture, I'm ready to hear it.

What I've noticed is that people base their conclusions on "traditions of man" and on one or two Scriptures, but when other Scriptures are added that contradicts their interpretation it is ignored. How about we stopping reading our own interpretations into Scripture? I have NO problem addressing any Scriptures you share with me. Because I am not afraid of the Word or any of my interpretations.

"And this in my zeal to be right" is basically saying, I am not concerned with truth. And that is definitely not who I am.

Listen, if you have revelation to share about the VAST amount of Scriptures I use to support my conclusions, then feel free, but telling me I'm "getting ahead of myself" and "contradicting myself" without actually responding to Scriptures that I am posting just isn't right. And its not honoring.

Do you go to the kingdom of Heaven all the time? or are you bringing heaven to earth through the kingdom of God?

I hope he's reading! Understanding the Kingdom of God is super important to his questions about healing! That's why I've drifted into this direction, because his question isn't so much as does God heal, but why don't all get healed? And this has been a pursuit I've studied and prayed about myself.

It's actually a similar question to why don't all get saved? Well it's because they don't understand the goodness and kindness of God. And they don't understand the PROMISE that has been made available to them in Christ. Scripture says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. We gotta "hear the Spirit" for ourselves to have "faith" for what He is doing...

Abraham didn't read about God in a book. He heard the Spirit of the Lord for Himself and he obeyed. The moment Abraham obeyed God, the Kingdom of God, was brought a little closer to Earth. Because God had a man who had faith in Him.

We don't know if Abraham was the only one who heard God or if Abe was the only one who obeyed God. But we do know Jesus always obeyed God. And every time in Scripture someone obeys God, the power and reality of God manifests Himself through their life.

So again according to your Gospel my health crisis was because I?
A. did not have faith
B. did not have enough faith
C. did not grow my faith
D. Some hidden sin caused it all and since I am not fully 100% healed yet, it has to be because I have not fully repented of same hidden sin
E. Need to muster up more faith to make it happen
F. I said, ouch my neck hurts and brought all down on me, because of the choice of my words.
G. Heck I should never have had it happen because its Not God's will for me to have a health crisis

Do you people ever stop and listen to yourselves?

The OP asked for help because he was shipwrecked by a damnable gospel, that condemns people and not by his lack of faith....

Really super important is it, is that why churches like Bethel in Redding California that preaches the kingdom of God is coming on earth, wants to make disciples of everyone, also has prayer/healing rooms?

Why does God need a special room with special vibes to do His work, hmm... I do not remember Jesus taking anyone to a special room?

If healing is so central to these beliefs of people like Bill Johnson, Todd White etc., etc., then why are there still hospitals full with ailing people?

Cee just come right out an say exactly what you believe around this kingdom of supernatural power coming to earth.

I have gone right out and said what I believe.

I believe that God desires us to follow Him.
The enemy causes sickness.
We are called to rebuke the enemy. Cast out demons etc.

When people don't get healed, when I pray, I don't blame their faith. I blame my own.
Like I've said before.
Jesus rebuked His disciples, He didn't rebuke the one who wasn't healed.

What I don't do, is make a theology that doesn't exist because of my experiences.

Wonder what the OP thinks of all this...
I messaged him back on page 13 and he said he wasn't getting the exegetics he wanted and he had left the thread!

He did say he wanted Word Faith apologetics, if there is such a thing, which genuinely uses Greek and Hebrew to study the truth as to whether we can claim healing, or whether that is a lie from the devil. (Not seeing any middle ground here!)

Once again you are not discussing Scripture I am.

1. Jesus said pray for the Kingdom of God to be here on Earth.
2. Jesus said preach the good news of the Kingdom.
3. Jesus used the word "Kingdom" over 50x.
4. The Kingdom of God has everything to do with the King.
5. Discipleship is through obeying the Teacher (This is Kingdom).

Yes it IS super important. Because the Will of God is supposed to be done HERE on Earth through US. Not because of any other healing rooms or whatever, I am discussing Scripture not any of those other things.

If it is God who provides the healing why do you fail?

Did Jesus ever fail?
