I'm not implying that anything needs to be added to the story of our salvation.

Besides, does anyone ever get an amen of approval from you? You seem very "holier-than-thou".

You say you know God's perfect will and, yet, as far as you know, what I've prophesied is His perfect will. And you reject that.

You should be careful how you judge other people and being critical in how God chooses to use them. I have committed all that I am to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ and in Him only do I trust. I am your fellow brother and servant in the faith. Please don't talk to me so presumptuously and pretentiously.
What IS (and has always been) the point of being a "prophet", sir?
You are telling people that Amerca will be destroyed. But what is the remedy

When you mentioned "come out of her", how can they "come out of her"?

Why is that important solution left out?

What should the people do?

I know this is my first thread, but I came to this site to ask people's opinions.

God has called me to be a prophet, but I don't understand the point of it. What good is it to know what is going to happen? What good is it to tell people what's going to happen?

When I do tell people what is going to happen, they don't believe me and they come up with any explanation they can to say that what God has shown me will happen won't happen.

Deuteronomy 18:21,22 gives the test of a prophet: "[SUP]21 [/SUP]You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” [SUP]22 [/SUP]If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed." I will pass that test when what God has shown me comes to pass. The only problem is that when what I say comes to pass, there will not be anyone alive or on this forum to verify it.

Even the most devout Christians on this forum will not be able to accept what I have to say. God is going to do a thing so great and terrible that you cannot even fathom it, let alone accept it. And again I ask, what good is it for me to tell anyone? I fear, and think I know deep down in my heart, that God has raised me up to be the unheard prophet: a raving madman preaching from the street corner about what He is going to do and that no one will listen or heed my warning. And then it will be too late.

Why would a prophet come to ask people's opinions?

Except for the two things I bolded, I agree with everything you said.

As for the ICBM nuke attack the men will be hiding in the rocks and caves from, it is one and the same as the wrath of the Lamb. That's what the prophecy concerning Babylon is about, the fact that it is God's wrath poured out on Babylon and this is His method of fulfilling that prophecy.
The issue is, many others came before claiming to be prophets. To which you say 'well those false ruined it for me'. But they said the same thing. You are sounding exactly the same as others who have been proven false. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

My other issue is you are here proclaiming America's destruction at the hands of Russia. Maybe it's true. Maybe it's not. But what Purpose is served by saying this? I did not read all the pages, but from what i have read, there is no chance to escape. No repentance offered. Just a prophecy of doom and death.
So lets say i choose to believe you are a prophet and heed your words. Where does that leave me as an American? Sitting around every day waiting for a nuke to be dropped on my head. A life of fear waiting for my death that could come at any moment. You have provided a 'prophecy' of fear with no hope. God has called you to issue a waning of the death of millions that have no chance to change it. They are just doomed. The end. Reconcile that with the idea that your prophecy is in any way related to salvation.

I know right. I think about it all the time.

In the end, I can only tell you what the scripture says, "Come out of her my people." That means, leave America. Move. Does that seem uncomfortable? Of course it is. It's been uncomfortable for everyone God has called to move (Abraham, Israel, the Exodus, etc.)

Other than that, salvation doesn't change. Those who listen to the Lord and trust in Him will be saved - both here and in the hereafter. If you choose to stay in America, however, you have failed to follow God's warning of "Come out of her my people" and "run for your lives". If you stay, you didn't heed God's call to save your own life.

I wish there was more to say to make it all better.

voiceinthewind,

What scriptures are you using that tie the USA to Babylon?

================

And my prophecy is much worse than yours,

In my understanding, Israel is totally wiped out and the planet is destroyed.

======================

I don't know why America won't/can't help.

War or politics?

Read posts 98 and 99 on this thread. Just read them. Who else in the whole world can fit the descriptions - especially about the merchants of the world and the ship owners of the sea being made rich by her? America is four times more than the second country in terms of being the largest consumer nation in the world.

As for Israel, yes, Israel will be trodden down for some years and be subjugated by the Beast, but they will call on the Lord and the Lord will deliver them in the end at His return. It's going to be epic.

Your only thinking of our modern times, of the world you live in.

The last book of the Bible was written by 100 ad.

Put yourself as a Christian in the Roman Empire of that time.

Who would Babylon be then?

------------

The USA has only been a great power for the last 100 yrs,

Before that it was England and France,

It was the Roman Empire for 500 years,

And many over Israel before that.

----------

Perhaps you are thinking that capitalism, (the love of money), is the spirit that is ruling the USA.

What is new about that?

It rules this world.

The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the vain pride of life, are in all peoples lives, and have been for all time since the fall in the Garden of Eden.

--------------------

God has surely blessed this nation and it's people.

There are some that say that because God has blessed the USA,

That now they are evil.

But..............

Who brings food and medical care to disaster zones?

Who fights the wars that try to bring people freedom from tyranny?

Who, with the free world, stops the Russians, Chinese, IsIs, Hitler, from murder and slavery?????

Where is the arsenal of freedom, and the home of democracy?

Some say that America is not great....They are liars !

--------------

As for Israel, yes, Israel will be trodden down for some years and be subjugated by the Beast, but they will call on the Lord and the Lord will deliver them in the end at His return. It's going to be epic.

I am curious about how you are assured that what you have been received is from God but not someone else. Would you put in some details as how God convey the messages to you for you to be called a prophet and to make your prophecy said here.

I have a question for you.

If I answered that Billy Graham confirmed my prophecy, would it hold more weight with you than if I said the Holy Spirit confirmed it?

I speak about modern times because Revelation concerns those events that take place on Earth preceding the return of Jesus Christ.

The language in the prophecies foretelling Mystery Babylon accurately describes a nation that is EXACTLY what America is.

Yes, God has blessed America and used America to spread His Gospel and to do good deeds throughout the world. God is in love with and finds satisfaction in the faithful followers He has in America. He loves them so much, He has warned them to leave America so they aren't destroyed along with her in her coming judgment.

Someone asked why I'm not leaving. If I leave to another country (and I happen to survive the chaos that will come to the whole world at the fall of America), I will be in a foreign land with no home, no country, no belongings, and everyone I loved and knew will be dead. I will go through that if God wants me to, but I'd rather die with my family and my fellow countrymen than to live in the world to come. I'll only sleep for a few short years before the Lord calls me awake to ride with Him into glory. Revelation 19:14.

Hi vitw glad to see you again :) I agree that babylon is America when I read about babylon in the bible I couldn't help but think of America but I don't think we are supposed to leave America in the sense that we go to another country I think we are to ( come out of her) as in to not be a part of Americas ways of living speaking doing and thinking because time is very short and the bible speaks of those being unprepared when sudden destruction comes and I think this is what was meant.

It's like I said a storm is quickly approaching a storm the likes this world has never seen it appears far away as one looks through a telescope backwards but in reality is nearly at our door and if our hearts are prepared none of us will stand even those who think they will. this storm will not just affect America it will affect the entire world so running won't do anyone any good and not to mention we have no need to run for God always protects his own

The Lord chooses his prophets. If the Lord chose me to be a prophet, the last thing I would do is tell anybody.

the way I see it a prophet will not be known by them saying they are called to be one but rather fruits of the calling they show day to day, of course just because one claims such a title doesn't mean their not one.

Ha!

I wonder which of the prophets were perfect? Isaiah when he said, "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips!"? Jonah when he ran away from God and was later angry at God for making a liar out of him and not destroying Nineveh? Peter when he cussed that lady out for accusing him (truly) that he was one of Jesus' disciples? Moses when he basically told God, "you got the wrong guy", or when he struck the rock in his anger towards the Israelites? Elisha when he cussed out the little kids for calling him bald and then two bears killed 42 of them? David when he slept with his and God's faithful warrior's wife and then had that man killed on the frontline? Balaam when he wanted to curse Israel for money? King Saul (among the prophets) when he did pretty much everything he did?

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

If your gift is from God, I don't see why you would be afraid of using it. If it's God - given then I'm sure he'd want you to help others by using it. Those who like will listen and those who don't won't listen. I personally think the most important thing is to deliver the message regardless of whether people listen to you or not.

Before someone speaks for God it would do well for them to understand his Word.

Word of advice...if God has called you as a Prophet you won't have to go around telling everyone. They will see it.

Prophets can lie just like anyone else this is in I Kings Chapter 13 read the whole chapter you have "the man of God" going to give king Jeroboam a message the "man of God" was told to do three things from the Lord he did two out of three and died because he ate at his brothers house who was a old prophet that lied to him the old prophet said a angel said he could eat there even after God told him not to. When a prophet speaks it will never go against Gods word. When a prophet speaks and their words are not true in time they are to be ignored the Lord will kill them. Deuteronomy 18 20-22
[SUP]
20
[/SUP]But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.[SUP]21 [/SUP]And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken?
[SUP]22 [/SUP]When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

They are a few places in the New Testament about prophets but they are rare though one is Acts 21: [SUP]8 [/SUP]And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
And the two witnesses of Revelations Chapter 11
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

But you will know them by theirs fruits as well Matthew 7: 15-18

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[SUB][SUP]
[/SUP][/SUB]

All true prophets of God were devout men and women but they still sinned like me or anyone else we are to pray and ask the Lord and see in time to see if the message is true. I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I hope this helps someone on this board.

And the inner and outer courts will be distinguished one from the other: those who belong to HIM from those who don't...
Even at the first passover, those who were marked by GOD were passed over...those who weren't marked, were not passed over...
