First day of school down, kid's send it was good, prayed all day about thank you God for answering my prayers.

It's very hot here today.

Magenta I wanted to fill you in on my dogs itching problem. I talked to the vet yesterday and told her that on Sunday I found one flea. She said with her being so sensitive to fleas she may knock them off right away and we won't see them. So I switched her to an edible flea medication and put some more on the cat's, but I haven't seen them scratching. She also has her on some medication for a week to relieve the itching. She definitely slept better last night and was snoring a lot today.

Thanks for keeping me up to date, Fenner :) My daughter has a hard time controlling Kodas's diet because there are so many other people she lives with, thinking it is mean or whatever, not to feed her this treat or that treat regardless of what is in it that might cause an itch problem, when really she is taking very good care of her. It seems to be pretty good for a while and then something else will crop up :p Is it a breed problem? Possibly :(

For her energy level, as a herder (the dog haha not my daughter) she gets her exercise needs met pretty well, loves playing with big dogs, can't get her fill of swimming in the water whenever it is nearby, and is really such a good dog, and funny, you know when she comes to greet you she presents both ends at the same time, contorting herself into a u-bend as she approaches you, just in case you are really a dog and not a human LOLOLOL:)

I saw the name Fenner in something I was reading, probably about the Tragically Hip. They did a cross country tour that ended last Saturday in their home town of Kingston, Ontario,. The CBC globally telecast the concert live, and I have been listening to their music a lot since then... the lead singer was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer (tumor) earlier this year, and so that may have been their last concert ever after being together for over thirty years.

I just looke dthe name up :D

Kate Fenner is a Canadian musician, currently based in New York City.
Between 2000 and 2006, she sporadically toured and sang
with Canadian rock band The
Tragically Hip.

Day went far better than I expected. The tests (there ended up being three not one like I thought), went pretty good. The Lady administering the Tests was super nice. She even sat down beside me and said a prayer for me before she started the machine up. That was an unexpected blessing. Don't expect such as that at the VA.

Anyway, it went far better than I expected, but I'm down another 5 pounds. Problem is, I just do not have an appetite. Nothing sounds good, or looks good, or tastes good, and I don't have the energy to bother cooking and then having to clean up afterwards. Oh well.............not a diet I would recommend, but it is surely working.......... :)

Glad to hear it all went better than expected brother.

I can't imagine not having an appetite but my father is also at that stage in his life. He was a masculine guy when he was younger but his legs and arms are getting thinner and thinner.

We have a saying in Afrikaans - Getting old is not for sissies :)

Psalms
81

1 .) Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
2 .) Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. 3 .) Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

I'm glad everything went well for you. I know losing weight can me great but be careful. are you taking a new medication? That might be what's effecting your appetite.
