I was wondering if there was anyone who would like to do a Bible study with me. We could communicate via private chat, group e-mail, or group text. Anyone up for it?
 
I can be a little overbearing ...but I'm a real bible guy who actually knows the bible :) and would be glad to help in some way
 
That would be cool. I still have a lot to learn in the way of the Bible
 
Hmm. All the responses are teen girls (which makes sense in the teen forums) and much older men.......

I'd originally saw a thread link looking for Bible study and replied only to notice afterwards that it was in the "teen" forum. I deleted my reply quickly and shot an email to the original poster apologizing for the alert/mix up. The reply to that email was welcoming to the study, thus, my coming back here. I find your handle appropriate as my Lord says to look with the good eye rather than the bad one.

I withdraw and will pursue my solo study as usual, it's already too dark in here for me.
 
I'd be interested. But for the most part I'd prefer forum posting vs texting or email.
I suppose in the context of the pm, texts, emailing i can see it being odd ish that it was only teenage girls and older men responding but overall some of the best things I've learned I learned from people 4 times my age..lol. Half the reason i like the teens forum is because its got a good amount of active older people balancing out things. I've been in and around plenty of teen settings without that and it never amounted to anything too great.

But I'd be game for a bible study or two or three.
 
Say we read 1 or 2 chapters a day then email our comments and or questions to all in the group. Timelines are different so we may we have to it at individual times. Any other thoughts on this?
 
Older men woman welcome because they have more insight and experience than most of us

that sounds good to me...or if someone wanted to lead it a word study or whatever. I just think having the forum features vs email would be a lot easier. But I may totally alone in that and can suck it up lol

Yes that's what I thought a wise one or both no trolls please.
On the subject of forum posting it may mean that it will get out of hand like Bible discussion forum and trolls can post in it too. But if it is private than if we get a troll like person than we can exclude that person easily.
Would Willie T like to lead?
