It always feel happy when I see people get engaged (except for my Sister and her second Husband but that's another story). It's such an exciting time. My Grandma was always super excited when someone found love, especially her Grandchildren. She'd ask when I was single, when are you going to get married? My response was, Grandma I don't even have a boyfriend. When I did get engaged the new question was, When are you going to have a baby? Well Grandma I think we'll wait for a bit. Her response, Why wait? You need to have babies. So as the wedding day approached I told my then fiancée to not be surprised if my Grandma mentions us having babies. Sure enough at the reception my Grandma comes over and asks my Husband, When do you two plan on having a baby? I asked, Can we wait until after the reception? To that she just laughed.

LOL *peeks into thread where everyone is telling a newbie it isn't a dating site, avoids eye contact, leaves thread without commenting...*Yes, about that... you people are making it REALLY hard for the rest of us. Someone posts an "I'm looking for a mate" thread, how are we going to all join in on the chorus of "This is not a dating site!" when people keep pairing up here?

Yeah, and the BDF was supposed to be for Bible discussions. Things change and currently CC Singles is about the only safe place.
Alternatively, feel free to mention it to Robo.

I find it highly inappropriate for a man to be chatting with a taken female without her mate along side. and I believe the same in the reverse order a woman to be chatting it with a taken man.
Also to add in the false advertising of a taken person to be posting in singles. where it shall be assumed everyone posting here is SINGLE.
Hmm... you know that might explain what happened to some people who disappear, then suddenly come back after a few months. Not mentioning any names...

As I sit here crying , I'm wondering what is so wrong with me posting here when I have never done anything inappropriate? I have had a really crappy week. And what wise beard man said piut the cherry on top. It hurts. I come here for fellowship. I do go into the other forums, but I come here for fellowship sometimes. My Husband knows I'm here. It doesn't bother him. If my posts bother you put me on ignore.
I try to be kind and understanding to others. I leave CC and come back after awhile. I've even asked my Husband to join. I would never do anything to hurt my marriage. If my Husband said to me, I don't want you chatting on CC anymore I'd leave in a New York minute.
