Well I finally wrote my speech. I have to give a short speech at church this month. And it is that, short n to the point.

If I can try it out on any one just say so. I'm dying for an honest opinion.

Keen to hear it sister :)

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He never leaves us, even in your darkest days he is there. He is our comforter our light in darkness. Just as he promises in John 14:18 which reads.... I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Then again in 2 Corinthians 1:3 it tells us that God the Father is God of all comfort... it reads... Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort... So why should we fret or be disheartened when God himself has promised us such comfort? Then it goes on in 2Corinthians 1:4 to let us know that through the comfort of our Lord Jesus Christ we too can comfort others. And it reads like this... Who comforted us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted by God... Now let us go forth and rejoice in the Lord as it is written... Psalm 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

A very sweet and truthful speech :) I like it a lot. I really like the point of the sermon about comforting others as we are comforted by God.

Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Thank you! Yes that was my main focus! So looks like I did get my point across!! Yay

If don't know the setting in which you will use this. If it was me I would also look at
how we can do the above practically as well. If it is an informal setting a small group etc,
then maybe you could throw it open for people to discuss the practicalities, how we can
help and encourage each other, how to be real with each other and before God.

If in a wider setting, then maybe ask people who are sat near each other to chat about
the practicalities etc.

Or you could say something about how it's easy to read and say, but quite different when faced with
the reality of a difficult situation etc.

But that's just me. :) I've been thinking a lot lately about how superficial words can be.
They don't mean much in the greater scheme of things. Actions speak louder than words.
I suppose the best way forward is to have a close walk with God and develope that relationship
so when difficult times come, we are already where we need to be spiritually.

Its like fire fighting, train to be a fire fighter first before the fire starts.
Dont wait for it to start then wonder what to do etc. We have a tendency to do things the
wrong way around.

The reality is we all need changing, need to develope a trust and faith and have a real and
certain hope and understand who we are in Christ, before we can truly understand the comfort
and provision in Christ and really believe.

I would liken it to a father child relationship. A child knows they are loved by their parents
and can rely on them, ask them anything, knows they will help etc. But a child could not say the
same of a distant uncle who they only see at Christmas and Easter!

Oops, sorry I got on my soap box lol. :)

** Peeks in... Looks around **

Ah. Good morning.

*lifts cup of coffee to lips, takes a sip*

I'm gonna need more coffee today.. Sigh...

But, alas... It's Monday!! I will be happy and rejoice for yet another day to be alive! :)

I got yet another interview (this one with a agency that hires people on behalf of the companies)

- Speaking of tattoos.... I kind of want one just to find out what it feels like :p .... but that would be a waste of money (especially with Norwegian prices)....

It feels like... A pin needle repeatedly poking your skin (not very deep in your skin, maybe just enough to make you bleed a bit) and dragging against your skin with pressure applied. If you can (which is impossible lol) try that without the ink, then you will know what getting a tattoo feels like. It just hurts more on bone.. Cause it feels like it's dragging against your bone, but it's not. It's not deep enough in our skin to cause that much damage.

I only have 2, And both... Priced together.. $ 220. American dollars that is lol

I have a dental check up this afternoon. :(

They scrape your teeth and catch your gums, then charge you for the privilege
of hurting you.

Naughty dentist.

Miri: Yup. but still, whatever you paid is probably what a Norwegian dentist would charge for saying "hi" :p

Numbers 4:11

"Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with the durable leather and put the poles in place.

Good morning everyone. :)

Well, personally, If I had to CATCH your GUMS, I'd probably charge you based on HOW FAST your gums were, and HOW FAR I had to CHASE them to CATCH them. The Bill could get rather HEALTHY!

I kinda wanted to be in an elevator that failed on about the 25th Floor, and went zooming down, JUST TO SEE if it is true that IF YOU JUMP UP IN THE AIR just before it hits bottom, you will not be harmed.

But, I got over that............
