Here's the deal with that. Your "pro life" candidate wouldn't touch ANY piece of abortion legislation during his term. Abortion is too risky for any president to touch. Gary Johnson would leave the legislation alone just like every other candidate. He's just honest about where he stands on it. I disagree with him on that as well as gay marriage but both abortion and gay marriage are cemented into American law now. It's not going to change if a "Christian" president gets in.

Which honest is he? Where he's pro-abortion now or pro-life four years ago? (About three-fourths into the article.) His form of honesty is like Clinton and Trump -- nonexistent.

It would be helpful if you actually knew what the Review is. So, you'll believe a single video from a guy with across-the-board opinions on one subject, but not "a newspaper?"
Personally, I think Pro Life is a non-issue, given Republicans haven't done squat to fix that judicial screw up in 44 years even when they had the majority vote, but I'm not into trusting someone who lies consistently enough you can't believe anything said.
That is the problem with this election -- no one means what they say, and people are happy to support them anyway.

1. The National Review is a newspaper comprised of Onion-tier opinion columns. Not news stories.
2. Conservatism IS crooked. It uses great logic but fails to fully apply it across the board, just like liberalism.
Conservatism: People should be treated like adults. They should be able to possess firearms to defend themselves, even though they could kill a ton of people with them at will. Drugs? People aren't adult enough to decide whether or not they want to consume a drug. They need the government to tell them what to do.
Liberalism: People should be treated like adults. They should be able to decide what they want to put in their bodies so drugs shouldn't even be a criminal issue. Firearms? People aren't adult enough to be trusted with a firearm. They need the government to tell them what to do.
Libertarianism: People should be treated like adults and the government isn't their mommy.
