We ran/walked 4 miles earlier. It was an adventure. We saw some others playing. On the way back two cars honked at us and another yelled "Pokemon Go!!" out of his window lol. And you might think I'm making this up, but a Rattata popped up on my screen and at the exact same moment I hear a sound, look over, and on the other side of this fence in the grass was a huge rat XD. That was weird.
Anyway, hatched a few eggs, but I may stick to driving to locations from now on when we play

Interesting...when I'm at my place, there's *at least* one pokestop each city block. I'm in NJ for the weekend and it seems there's only 2 stops on the map for this town.

This is a screen shot of what it looks like where I'm at now in NJ. I went to someone else's house a few blocks away further inland yesterday and checked as well, and she had NO stops

Now here's an interesting find. Naming your Eevee after one of the Eevee brothers in the anime, will get you said brother's eevee evolution type. (Sparky for Jolteon, still is the best electric type imo).

Yeah, I dislike Magikarp almost as much as Metapod...but Magikarp evolves into Gyardos, so it's got that going for it lol

Butterfree is one of my favorites lolInteresting. I've never given my Pokemon nicknames, but I may try that.
They organized a lure event at a park a couple blocks from my house today. It was pretty cool; there were so many people!
In other news, I read someone ask a group of people, "which team are you?" and they all were like, "Team Rocket." xD
I set out a lure today near my house just to see what would happen. Within minutes a couple came down the street and sat down, a car stopped and parked, and some dude wearing an Ash Ketchum hat came to play too lol. I tried to take a pic of him and his hat, but he saw me and took it off. XD
Having played this for about a week now, and as someone who just catches them and has no interest in going to the gyms, I can definitely see the thrill wearing off before long. I hope they add trading and regular pvp battling at some point. That would be awesome!
