I do realise what often happens in these discussions.

If I ask a question you say I am accusing people. A question is just that.

The problem with following the Lord is he is the Lord of standards, precepts, morals, principles,
laws, commands. For instance we are commanded to love each other, forgive one another and
walk in peace.

What I know is a lot of you guys are very rules orientated and hate people telling you what to do
especially with guns.

What you regard as acceptable behaviour from your children is one thing, but judging people in
church is another.

So if it is immigration or globalisation or those godless communists or muslims, its go to war, but if it is
minor dress issues, or simple conservative values, or even gay love, it is hypocracy to say anything.

Now I say this because all I have been talking about is getting your heart right with Christ, walking in
righteousness and purity. Yet you seem to want to pick an argument with me.

Something does not quite add up here.

This just goes to prove once again you haven't an idea of what most of the people you talk to believe.

Maybe you should give up trying to tell everyone what they believe and start just stick to what you believe the bible is telling us..

You would have alot less anguish.

This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
1 John 5:2

Love one another as I have loved you
Love your enemies
Love God
Love your neighbour

Taking the idea we are a perfect new creation, at the point we put our faith in Jesus, repent and confess our sins, does all the above suddenly appear over night? Answering honestly, not a chance. It is a vague outline, words on a page, a few glimpsed experiences.

So you have to grow into these realities, or be sanctified through discipleship.

Now as most here belong to the mystic side of faith, how did they achieve this without discipleship? Because I have never met anyone who has not had this experience, but I have met a lot of people who say stuff so sound big, but fail at the basics of life and spirituality.

One cc member told me Christ would blow my socks off. She had some serious issues with forgiveness and harm, so though I do not doubt the work the Lord had done in her life, she seemed to lay too much emphasis on the mystical and not real life practical obedience. We are called to be righteous, pure and Holy. Do you agree or is this just religious language?

I am creating a proposition, and talking about the contradiction within this proposition.

I do not know if it applies to you, but it must touch a nerve or else you would not be so defensive.

EG we both know what each of us believes, but you love to say this statement time and again.
What you do not like is shinning a light on contradictions, which show up a problem. It really annoys you.

To actually say what annoys you would show your real position, so you continually try to demean.
You will just explode inside doing this, it is not good for your health. You had to take a week off cc
to calm down, looks like that will never solve the problem, until you start openning up.

We agree, in fact, if you would just listen you would find out. Most everyone, if not all, would agree with you on this..

Now as most here belong to the mystic side of faith, how did they achieve this without discipleship?
And there you go again, Thinking people are saying things they never said.

Because I have never met anyone who has not had this experience, but I have met a lot of people who say stuff so sound big, but fail at the basics of life and spirituality.

Maybe because no one believes or follows it? it is something you either made up. or was taught by a leader or pastor. which you hold as truth, but is not true..??

we have never met anyone like that either.. wonder why that is?

ok. Mind showing us that quote?

It is one thing to say a cc member told you something, But you have a habit of taking them out of context and making them something they never said.. So I would not want to comment on something with out proof..

No, What your doing is taking a false representation of what someone else believes, and making it be gospel truth (because you are never wrong) and using that as a basis of an argument.

ie, Your basins your argument on a false precept. then wonder why your argument fails to lead people to what you want them to see.

Then you attack them when they try to make you understand this..

Oh Peter..why

I have to share this because I found it illuminating.
A racist is someone who hates another because of their nationality or race.

So a christian brother says yes I am a racist.

Do you see a contradiction in their position? Do you see a follower of Jesus can never
be a racist? Yet many white supremacist groups would hold to the christian faith and
justify this hatred. It is also why I do not expect or predict your positions or responses
I just put out different analogies and see how you respond. This often speaks more
about what is in you than anything else, from the lips comes the fruit of the heart.

So truly I do love you, and desire you walk in righteousness, purity and love,
God bless

lol.. Peter It is not just me, I witnessed so many people telling you the same thing over and over, even the week I was gone, I saw people kindly trying to show you how you treat people and misrepresent what they believe. So you need to get off your high horse.

me taking a week off did not help me calm down, It just gave me some peace.. I was calm to begin with.

The only thing which will solve the problem is for you to stop thinking you know what everyone believes, and stop telling them what you think, then getting MAD when they call you out on it.

ps.. You do not have any idea what I believe, so please. You prove it almost every time you post. and every time myself or the so many other people have to try to correct you..

You always want to pass blame, But you refuse to take any yourself..

Maybe I have hope you will one day see? But yeah, I think your right about one thing, That problem may never be solved.

please. take the plank out of your idea, and stop trying to take the spec out of a brothers eye.

let he who has no sin cast the first stone. Are you sinless??
if not, you have no right to judge any one

Disciple? Yes, (if you are a true believer) Judge, No.

EG - Oh EG...why. If only you would listen to what I am saying you would realise this is the truth.
We are sinners in need of saving. Repent and get yourself right by turning from your sin and following
Christ in humble obedience. That is the walk of faith.

As you appear to be saying I am wrong in my precept, you must be following a different faith.
You claim to agree with me, but are picking an argument, so obviously not. You are a two faced man
who never really says what he means but always creates diatribe. Why EG, Why????

Shame on you EG. Racism is ok for you to follow, shame.
As Jesus said, you are either with Him or you are His enemy. Racism is evil, from the pit.

I know where you are and fruit of your heart. You have no problem with hypocracy or else
it would turn your stomach. Slavery, the Holocaust are all parts of racism.

You must have a heart of stone. Racism is not some mild minor issue, it is foundational
to hatred and evil. So I call you to repent before the Lord, and seek His forgiveness for
defending racism.

I do listen to what you say, thats why I know you do not know what we believe. or anyone like me..

I am a sinner, I did need saved, I was saved, Because I am a born again child of God. I love to obey God, and do what he asks.. I can't walk in sin peter. Because as John says, I am born of God. I believe what John said is true, why don;t you? Don't listen to me peter. I am just a person. Listen to John.

Why can't I walk in sin? Well if you would follow me where I am, We may be able to discuss this. But you just told me to repent and turn from sin, (something I did 41 years ago I may add) So your not following me at all.. You do not even know me.

As you appear to be saying I am wrong in my precept, you must be following a different faith.

No, I said you are wrong in your precept of what WE BELIEVE..

You claim to agree with me, but are picking an argument, so obviously not. You are a two faced man
Ahh come on peter. I am not picking an argument, I am just showing you where you are wrong in what you think we believe. Your the one who wants to argue. because you refuse to see you just may be wrong in what you think about us..
who never really says what he means but always creates diatribe. Why EG, Why????
I always say what I mean, and I always will..

When oh when peter are you ever going to tell myself or any of my brothers and sisters what we REALLY believe, and base your argument on that, and not on your false precept of what we believe?

All I am doing is showing you where you are wrong (about us) .. Like everyone else has tried to do.

we can't even really discuss the bible. Because your to busy telling us what we believe, and proving you have no idea what we believe.

Yes, it has touched a nerve...you are going beyond the MINISTRY of RECONCILIATION.
further, spiritual giant, (fat, filled, fed sheep that you are!) you are pointing at the SHEEP who are in THE FLOCK and accusing them of NOT keeping their eyes on THEIR SHEPHERD...

Don't you know there is ONE SHEPHERD over the FLOCK and HE will judge between the fattened, and filled, and fed SHEEP and the baby lambs?

And if the "fattened" and "filled" and "fed" sheep keep muddying up the WATER for the babies trailing behind who haven't even had PURE WATER and can't discern PURE WATER from the muddy additions of men's feet, HE will judge that as well...

Peter was called to feed HIS LAMBS.
What did you think Peter was feeding Lambs?

Men's "Bread".
Or GOD'S?

What proposition are you creating?
What exactly is needed from the hand's of a man?
Tell me again, what is it you have that men need?

And if GOD has given what HE has given, and those to whom HE has given it, know they have received it, why do you think you need to do more than what is BEST and directly from the HAND of GOD?

Point all the sheep to THE DOOR and step away.
But as it stands, you claim to be in the sheepfold and are pointing at the sheep?

Why?
What is it that HE has accused us of?

I love ya peter, But it seems all know how to do is cut people down with false truths, and lies about who they are and what they believe.

Racism. Satanic. God made all people. all people are beloved in Gods eyes. There is no room for racism.

of course, I did not have to say this, In not one place have I ever condoned racism, or said I am for it, That is the furthest thing from the truth,

Thats just another one of your lies..

I still have hope for you peter.. I do.. Even Saul. the most religious legalistic person whoever walked the earth (a pharisee) found the truth of Christ.. I will not say your unsaved, I do not have that power. But I can call you out for your sins..

We were told ALREADY...let your LIGHT/LOVE shine on all men.
We were told ALREADY...PERFECT (impartial, unbiased, righteous) LOVE drives out all fear.

What is it that you needed to add?
And why do you THINK you needed to add it?
