Please explain Matthew 5:28
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
If a man looks at a woman with the view to having sex with her, Then he has committed adultery in his heart.
A good Christian wouldn't lust after a woman. Would they??.

You do realize that tongues in the New Testament is one speaking in the language of another country, don't you? It was so that people could understand the gospel in their own language.

It isn't the gobbledygook that one hears on TBN.

Not all Christians speak in tongues. The Holy Spirit gives different gifts to believers.

"But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills... And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they? But earnestly desire the greater gifts." (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 21-31)

Does it bother you at all to get proven wrong time and time again?

First of all, Remember that you tell lies, so I cannot believe a word that you say, as you have lied about the Bible and you have lied about me.

They weren't speaking the gospel in Acts 2: 4--11. They were speaking the wonderful works of God, [His miracles].
If they were preaching, Why would Peter have to stand up and preach to them??, V14--41.

Tongues that are a foreign language, Acts 2: 4--11, are just one of the eight operations of tongues that are recorded in the Bible.

Then there are tongues that no one can understand, 1 Cor 14: 2, This cannot be the same as Acts 2: 4--11, as no one will understand this tongue, and it's speaking to God, Not to people.

The tongues that need interpreting are one of the gifts of the Spirit, and not everyone will have that gift, But everyone can have the other seven operations of tongues.
Then there is a tongue that needs an interpretation, 1 Cor 12: 10, 7 V30. This isn't the same as Acts 2: 4--11, as no one will understand it, until it's been interpreted.

Then there are tongues that build us up, 1 Cor 14: 4, Jude 20, This is different to Acts 2: 4--11. 1 Cor 12: 10, 7 V30.
and 1 Cor 14: 2.
These are just for of the operations of tongues that the Bible records.

So, Instead of telling lies about me being proved wrong, why don't you admit that you either don't know the Bible, Or you tell lies about the Bible and me.
You need to be very careful about accusing todays tongues as gobbledygook, as they are God's Holy gift to His Church.

I won't apologize to you simply because I was correct. You claimed you never said a thought can't be sinful. You said it in the above quote, and it doesn't matter if you add "unless" to it or not. So stop contradicting yourself.

And I notice you skipped answering this part of my post:

"And for you to say you have never been sick, and never will be, is another lie. You know it, and everyone who reads this knows it. You manage to do what even the Apostles couldn't do, for many times they were sick."
You wasn't correct. Why tell lies??.
This is what I said,
A sinful thought will come to everyone, The key is to reject those thoughts, A thought isn't a sin, unless it's acted on.
[End quote]
The devil will put sinful thoughts in our minds, but it's what we do with those thoughts that make it sin, if we act on them, or not sin if we reject them.

What makes you think every Christian will get sick, God tells us that Jesus has taken our sicknesses.
Isaiah 53: 3. Jesus was a man of pains, [Our pain], and acquainted with sicknesses, [Our sickness].
V4.SURELY Jesus has borne our sicknesses and carried our pain.
V5. By the strips of Jesus, we ARE healed.

Matt 8: 16--17, V17. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Isiah Prophet, saying Himself, [Jesus]
took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.

1 Pet 2: 24, By the strips of Jesus we WERE healed.
Please note the words, "ARE, Isaiah 53: 5, and WERE, 1Pet 2: 24.".

Mk 16: 18, The believer shall lay hands on the sick, and they SHALL recover.
James 5: 15. The prayer of faith SHALL heal the sick.

So God's divine will is that we walk in divine health, but if we get sick, we WILL be healed.

And those of us who have enough sense to believe God's word, can walk in divine health, and if sickness does try to come on us, we can[And do] receive healing.

Just because some Apostles got sick, It doesn't change God's word DOES IT. Do we stop believing in salvation because no one got saved when we told them the gospel??.
Even so, We shouldn't stop believing in healing if people fail to receive healing.

Remember, You are a recorded liar, as you lie about the Bible and about me, So no one can accept what you say.

Again, it depends if they are living it as a means to retain their salvation or not. If one believes they must add their works to what Christ accomplished on the cross, then they are believing another gospel.

The matter of our salvation was settled on Golgotha.

You said.
The matter of our salvation was settled on Golgotha.[End quote].
Not quite right, as Jesus had to go to hell, and be raised up from hell and the tomb, to complete the forgiveness of sins and justify us. Acts 2: 31--32. 1 Cor 15: 17--20. Rom 4: 25.

The death of Christ on Calvary's tree where He shed His blood provides justification. So it will be comfortable to say it with the provision of our salvation.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

I wonder what it was that got people to decide "eternal" meant anything other than "eternal"

Eternal life
Eternal redemption
Eternal inheritance
Eternally Blessed
A building Made by God not hands, Eternal in the heavens
Eternal salvation
Eternal Redemption'

how many more hints did God have to give for us to know his eternal glory and our eternal destination?

If salvation was based on us "maintaining" our righteousness then we need to change the meaning of "eternal" to mean "temporary" or until your next sin and of course change the whole gospel of the grace of Christ.

I like to say, we would change the meaning to conditional.

Meaning, as the OP suggested. God lied when he called them eternal possessions we have.

Yes..."conditional" sounds more like the human reasoning we use when we dis-believe the gospel and "maintain" our own righteousness.

Point #2). In this I disagree wholeheartedly based on God's Word. We must align our will with His to allow His purposes to become realized.
Want to align yourself with God's will? Here it is:

"Then they asked, 'What must we do to do the works God requires?' Jesus answered them, 'The work that God requires is this; to believe in the One He has sent.'" (John 6:28-29) J

Jesus didn't add any other requirements.

In the world you paint, Sin seems to be but a nuisance now, not holding any of God's judgement on it still. Has God pardoned sin, or sins to you?
God has pardoned them ALL. See 1 John 1:7, Colossians 1:20, 2:13, Romans 8:1.

When a person becomes a Christian, his sins are forgiven and paid in full by Christ. There remains no further payment. Nor, can there be, because the Bible says there can be no remission of sins without the shedding of blood. If the blood of Jesus did not acquire for us the forgiveness of all of our sins, past, present, and future, then Jesus would have to come back and shed more of His blood to get those sins forgiven.

Why is Spiritual Warfare mentioned in the New Testament? Do you believe it is worth our effort to apply ourself to standing against Satan? If so, why, based on your position of us not needing to do anything?
I say that in regard to our salvation. It has nothing to do with our sanctification. We are indeed required to grow in Christ, and resist the devil, but our eternal destiny is settled, no matter what else happens.

Point #3). "I will not yield my glory..." (Isaiah 42:8), is much different than I will share my glory with my Children. "Now if we are Children, then we are heirs -- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory." (Romans 8:17).
The point is; God (Jesus) is not going to share the glory (credit) for your salvation with you. Because He initiated it, He paid the penalty for it, and He keeps it secure for you. All you are required to do is humbly accept His gift.

If God guarantees it, then He maintains it." I absolutely agree with you but for different reasons. The issue is, "Are you letting Him?
"Letting Him" is a concept foreign in the gospel. Your power and ability has nothing to do with retaining salvation. We will do good works afterwards, as God prepares and gives them to us to do (which goes to show God gets the credit for those as well, which is why we will throw our crowns at the feet of Jesus, because He deserves all of the credit for lives lived for Him) but those works have no bearing on salvation.

It is settled.

First of all, Remember that you tell lies, so I cannot believe a word that you say, as you have lied about the Bible and you have lied about me.
Anyone reading this thread can see that is a huge whopper.

And as far as your other tongues nonsense: You claimed all Christians will speak in tongues, which Paul himself pointed out is untrue. Not every believer had that gift (1 Corinthians 12:13). But, of course, you enjoy placing yourself above the Apostles in knowledge.

Tongues were a sign to unbelievers, not believers.

"Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers." (1 Corinthians 14:22)

Tongues speaking was of lesser importance than prophecy, and of far less importance than love. (1 Corinthians 12:27-31)

That's pretty odd if tongues was a sign of being a Christian.

Paul says speaking in tongues will cease. (1 Corinthians 13:8)

That's akin to saying people will stop being saved, by your reasoning.

Paul said he would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct than ten thousand words in a tongue. (1 Corinthians 14:19)

Yet another odd thing to say if tongues was the sign of a true believer.

Paul also said unregulated tongues could be a hindrance in the salvation of others. (1 Corinthians 14:23)

Your knowledge of the Bible is absolutely abysmal.

Okay, before I lump you in with Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, and the rest of those TBN lunatics, do you mean actual hell, or do you mean the grave?

You are right, Anyone can see that you tell lies, Plus you only give half truths, and that could be just as bad as erroneous teachings.

Here is another one of your errors, 1 Cor 12: 13, Isn't the baptism in the Holy Ghost, It's the baptism [By the Spirit], into the body of Christ.
The Spirit baptises us into the body of Christ, [The rebirth], And Jesus baptises us in the Holy Ghost, Matt 3: 11.
Two different experiences, as the Bible proves, in Acts 8: 5--8, And v14--17. The believers were born of the Spirit, [Baptised into the body of Christ], and baptised in water, Bot they weren't baptised in the Holy Ghost until the Apostles laid hands on them, V17.

Acts 9: 6, Paul was saved, [Baptised into the body of Christ], V12 Paul had a vision, V17, Ananias called Paul, [Brother Saul]
This was three day before he was baptised in the Holy Ghost, v9.

Acts 19: 2--6, The disciples were saved for who knows how long, but they weren't baptised in the Holy Ghost, Not until Paul laid hands on them.
Also, A close look at these scriptures show us that they all spoke in tongues, along with Acts 2: 4--11. Acts 10: 44--46.

Tongues are a sign for unbelievers, Mk 16: 17. But they wont understand tongues, it just a sign, like the people
in Acts 2: 4--11.
Like Simon had in Acts 8: 18--21.
But 1 Cor 14: 21 says the unbeliever wont understand tongues. And the words, "Wont hear Me", in v 21, Is the same meaning as, "No man Understands" in v2.

Tongues are very important to the Church, That's why God gave tongues to the Church, and there are eight operations of tongues recorded in the Bible.

Nowhere does the Bible say tongues will cease this side of eternity, And 1 Cor 13: 8, says they will cease, It doesn't say they have ceased, They it tells us when they will cease, and it's not this side of eternity.
If tongues have ceased, then so has knowledge, So we might as well close our Bible's, close our Churches and stop preaching and teaching, as there is no knowledge for the people to learn. But Daniel said Knowledge will increase in the last days.

When Paul said he would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct than ten thousand words in a tongue, He means it's better to speak so people could understand what's being said, Paul wasn't coming against tongues, You have to put scriptures in there right contexts.

Again, You are misquoting the Bible, as 1 Cor 14: 23, You have to link v 23 with v 24--26 The unlearned will think the tongues talkers are mad, but it they prophecy and tell them the secrets of their hearts, They will worship God and say God is in you. The in v26, Paul told the believer to speak in tongues.

It's quite obvious that you aren't baptised in the Holy Ghost yet,
[1]You don't speak in tongues, which is the Biblical evidence.

I can only tell you what the Bible and the Biblical Greek texts say.
So lets see what they do say, Acts 2: 27, &v31 says Jesus went to Hell, The Greek word for Hell in this scripture, is, "Hades".
Whereas the Body of Jesus was in a Tomb, Greek, "Mnemeion", Which also means the grave.

Mankind is Spirit, GK "Pneuma", Soul, Psuche" and body, "Soma", 1 Thess 5: 23. The body of Jesus was in a tomb, whereas His Spirit and souls was in Hell. You cannot get any clearer then what the Bible and the Greek says.

Jesus became sin [With our sins], 2 Cor 5: 21, and the penalty for sin is spiritual death, "separation from God",
Eph 2: 1, &v5, & v12. And spiritually dead people go to hell, "Hades", then Gehenna".
But Jesus never went to Gehenna, Only Hades.
And the reason why Jesus went to hell, was He took our sins and sin meant Spiritual death,[Separation from God] That's why Jesus cried, " My God, Why have you forsaken Me".
Both the Hebrew for "Forsaken", in Ps 22: 1. and the Greek for "Forsaken", in Matt 27: 46. Mean,
"To leave, to forsake and to abandon".
So Jesus took our sins and spiritual death and hell, So we can be Spiritually alive to God, be the righteousness of God, have forgiveness of sins, and won't go to hell.

That has always been my conclusion. The only thing that I would add is that, when Jesus went to Sheol/Hades, it was to the same place where Abraham, Lazarus and the rest of the OT saints were and not in place the place of torment in flame on the other side where the rich man was.

The Place called "Hell", Hades in Acts 2: 27 & v31, Is the same as Hell. "Hades" in Lk 16: 22--25, [V23].
Lazarus was in comfort in Abraham's bosom, whereas the rich man was in torment in Hell, "Hades".

Acts 2: 24 says God loosed Jesus from the pains of death, But we know God didn't loose Jesus from the pains of physical death, He died. But God did loose Jesus from the pains of Spiritual death and hell.
The Greek meaning for, "Holden", In Acts 2: 24, Is, a [continuous tense, To maintain, to retain],
It wasn't possible for Jesus to be retained continuously in hell.
And the word, "Loosed", means, "To unbind, to release", and as we know, God didn't release Jesus from the pain of physical death.

There's no difference between salvation and baptism of the Holy Spirit. We receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of conversion. (1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:5)

Second, you always avoid 1 Corinthians 12:7-11,27-31 where Paul taught that not all believers speak in tongues.

Go ahead and refute Paul.

The Biblical sign of a believer are the fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23) It has absolutely nothing to do with tongues.

My goodness, what kind of church do you belong to?
