We live in a New Covenant built upon better promise and of which the blood of Jesus speaks of better things. Let's believe the gospel of the grace of Christ.
so, if you are not walking in the Sprit 24-7-365, then you are not really saved. so, that puts your salvation on you. see how that works??
instead of worrying constantly about if your are doing enough good to be saved, try accepting that you are saved, and then do the good works that God prepared for you to do.
I don't give this line of reasoning any credit. It sounds catholic to me: saved, sin, unsaved, saved, sin, unsaved, etc, etc.. That's not the way it works.
There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. I know this goes against our religious traditions. There is a vast difference between believers and unbelievers.
Romans 8:1 (NASB)

Where is their righteousness mentioned in John 16:8, 10? Sounds like you're reading something into the text.
I am not catholic, and also, I give most everything you post no credit , so we are even there!!!!
Totally agree, no condemnation...but it illustrates the shell, game that throws red flags for me....
The topic is convict not condemn, yet the article says God does not convict and lists all the people who may condemn the person...lies mixed with truth....
God does convict but never condemns unlike the rest of the world, including ourselves.
This article might help some people out on this subject.
Just curious... were you ever catholic?
Why do you have to continually do this proselytizing with copy/pastes from that website? Why don't you communicate from what's inside you?
It might be interesting for you to do a translation study on that word "convict."

It might be fun to look up all the Bible verses...bbl
Who's he gonna preach to, but SOMEONE... (that would be, "them") What on Earth do you think that whole passage is talking about? It's the Holy spirit interacting with PEOPLE.......... not simply just "existing."
