I have been listening to The Saving. He is an annointed solo artist with some good talent.

I am new to the site,so bear with me if there is already a thread on this. I am a huge collector/lover of music with well over 2,000 cd's in my collection. I have noticed over the years there are not as many awesome Christian metal bands coming onto the scene anymore, and as far as Industrial/Electro,forget it. I was just curious as to what everyone's fav's in the genres were. Any special memories from any of the bands or albums? (Can be rock-thrash groups too) Heard anything good lately? If so plz share!
Some of my all-time fav bands in the Christian genre:
Saviour Machine
Deliverance
Believer
Tourniquet
Haven
Sacred Warrior
Global Wave System
Mortal
Circle Of Dust
Mad At The World
Red
Living Sacrifice
Recon
Soul Embraced
(in no particular order)
I have a bunch of artists too, where they made an album I might like, but I'm not actually a huge fan of the band or follow them.
BTW,if you haven't heard the new Tourniquet cd "Antiseptic Bloodbath" you are missing out. By far one of their best releases in a long time!!!

Honestly.. I really don't like any of them. I prefer music. Sorry ya-all'''

Firstly, itorethesky is no longer a member.
Second, if you have nothing at all to add to the conversation, except to make some cheap shot, why did you come here? Why bother commenting unless, your only intent is to be insulting? And if that's the case, which it seems to be, then i'm grateful for the heads of as to the kind of person you are, so in the future i know to keep my expectations low. Thank you for the warning about your character flaws.

Well, it was primarily Jesse from KsE, who is a Christian. And Adam from KsE who, at the time, seemed to be on a spiritual journey, and i suspect, was possibly raised in a Christian environment. Anyone else involved were hired hands i believe.

When i first heard it i liked the album, but after a few listens it began sounding bland. Such is the plight of most 'core bands.

I listen to afew songs but only afew I liked, does seems more bands going more main stream maybe to get more radio plays not sure.

Randy Rose is going to be making a new Rose album. Fundraising starts in two weeks.

The guys from Veni Domine have a new band called Cell9.
Fb here https://www.facebook.com/cell9theband

Makes me think a little bit of a darker Kings X. Kind of Kings X meets stoner metal.

I always felt their first album was their best. It came out when metal was still about the vibe it gave out, which allowed it to take it to a higher level.
