just want to talk about something and don't know where to put it so I putz it here...I'm speakin my mind

So, I get charged 5 buckaroos more on my phone (yeah yeah android and not as smart as they say) bill and cannot find why..so I call them up and they added texting for 10.00 and then gave me a longevity rebate...sweeties

I go, look my device (they like it when you call your phone a device) is paid for...basically I'm saying I've done the 2 years so why I am I being charged more?

well, making a silly exchange short, I received a credit and have lowered my payments from 75.00 to 35.00/mth...no data and all the other thrills and chills...no texting...just you know, what phones USED to be used for

okay...thanks for listening...
You know Walmart has Strait Talk for as little as thirty dollars a month plus tax. You get 1500 minutes for phone calls, unlimited texting, and quite a bit of data. I got camera and video as well.

It's not the greatest, coolest thing on the block, but for 30 and tax........hey,.........

I'm on a nice little roll today. Managed to get a lot of schoolwork/general studying done. Even managed to get a basic resume out to my teacher to pass around for any job openings he can find.

Bit of a bummer to have to work on a weekend, but eh. You gotta do what you gotta do.
I worked weekends for........well, until I retired.........

yeah...only I am currently dwelling in the Far North...I used to use like 12 gigs of data a month..I've unhooked myself from the 'device' and gone rogue..there's no turning back...

thank you though!

Praise him through the storms right?

Stay closer to God as much as possible through the trials right?

Focus on him and never look back right?

I got all that.. But when things go from bad to worse in just 12 hours in the day... Sometimes it's harder to do those. Sometimes you just want to throw in the towel and give up.. Sometimes you are just tired of fighting... Then you hear certain songs, and immediately you are back to being powered up again, you can focus more.. You can hang on tighter even if your fingers bleed.

Facing trials are never easy... I got hit with a triple whammy today. But I'm still here... I'm still fighting and I won't let go. No matter how much my fingers bleed... The enemy can pull, yank... Push... Or try to rip me out of my grasp from Jesus... But he can't take my faith away from me anymore..

I am going down to the local Methodist building to be church with those who also want to be Church. And give thanks that the flood damage is all but sorted with the houses that were affected.
Thank you Jesus that you put in place your workers that bought your peace to those affected. Amen.

I am NOT happy right now. Angel has been here since Friday. Since then, she won't drink anything, she won't eat her dry food, and has only eaten a couple bites of wet food. AND she's thrown up twice, yesterday and this morning. I AM NOT taking care of another sick cat!!! AND she had diarrhea this morning too. Please pray she'll start eating and drinking more, and stops throwing up and having diarrhea. Otherwise, back to the humane society she goes.

daisy and ducklings.jpg

we have a very pesky red squirrel that comes around and causes my dogs to go bananas...he put in an appearance this am and sure enough, all the puppies lined up by the window and telling me he was back...I like peace and quiet in the am and so I opened the front door to chase him away and almost plowed into Daisy and her babies pictured above

We put out corn for the pheasants and we have a mallard couple that has come back several years in a row...we even have 6 male mallards I call the bachelors who drop in from time to time...I was not expecting Daisy to be here so early in the season with ducklings...only about 20 ' from the house

so she scurried off with her babies in tow and I backed up and closed the door...now that I know the kids are coming too, going to have check before going out the front door...we live in the country and this is not an uncommon site...Daisy is used to me and will stand and stare at the house if the corn is gone and she will wait while I put it out...but babies are a different story...take no chances with the kids...I love my duckies!!
