There are two revivals going on in Kansas City right now. A lot of people know about IHOP, which is more of a free-for-all type of service four nights a week (Wednesday - Saturday). The other is at World Revival Church, which is a revival in a local church service (four services weekly, Thur - Saturday Night, and Sunday Morning) for everyone, but especially to show that churches can carry the power of God consistently in their services. I have not posted any videos in a while because my life has picked up in pace. I love what God has done in me and all around me in my church, so I want to share some recent videos with you and let you know that this Revival is going on two year solid and is only growing in strength. Please watch, enjoy, and may your inspiration, hope, and faith grow!

I'll try to remember to post more videos more often, and feel free to directly contact me if you want to know more. A mircale is happening every weekend in mylife, and I would be selfish and wicked not to share what has consistently sustained me throughout my young life.

I've heard about them and have been watching them on Youtube for sometime now. God's power is so mind-blowing! I've gotten Chills, i've been crying, i've been happy! and excited with all these videos

This is a pretty scary pseudo-Christian movement - yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paul Keith Davis and Bob Jones:
"
The Angel Stated That His Name Is 'Breakthrough!'"

The angel stated that his name is "Breakthrough", and that he has been assigned to the United States. That is what was articulated to Bob Jones in one of the most significant visitations he has ever received.
Over the past 12 years, I have watched the revelatory realm open to Bob in profound ways. It was quite astounding for him to tell me that he has recently had the second most powerful visitation of his life. The only one higher came directly from the Lord Jesus Himself.

On Friday, March 24th, as Bob was preparing for prayer, he immediately went into an Acts 10:10 type of trance. Bob's highest revelations come in this way. In the visitation, Bob saw what appeared to be 12 ordinary "men" approaching him. Although they had the appearance of men he knew they were angels. The one in front seemed to be the most prominent, and he served as spokesman for the group.

He said, "My name is 'Breakthrough', and I have now been assigned to the United States." For about 30 minutes, the angel shared with Bob historical accounts of past revivals that transpired to God's glory that he had been involved with. His job is to release breakthrough and awakening, and to initiate a wave of harvest by extracting all obstacles to God's plans while the other angels gather the harvest.

Most prominently, he shared his involvement in the life of Benson Idahosa from Nigeria. The angel had previously been intimately involved in the ministry of this great man of God throughout Nigeria and other African nations. Then the angel specifically articulated that after Nigeria, he had been assigned to the United States.

Without Bob knowing the history beforehand, the angel shared with him great revivals that brought many souls into God's Kingdom that he was responsible for. The angel stated that he has been in the United States for approximately two years laying the groundwork for the next revival. A revival, he said, that present stadiums will not be adequate to hold, once it is fully manifested. This revelation is particularly significant for me, as it directly relates to a word that we have been sharing throughout the body of Christ since October of 2003.

I don't know about Bob Jones.. Try to stay away from those people.. especially from John crowder ;/

A true revival will bring a permanent internal change from a defeated sinful life to a victorious life of holiness. As well, in old time revivals, the people would all fall to the floor as the preacher thundered hellfire preaching from the pulpit. Also I would suspect that in two years this revival would have spread a little bit further.

I'm skeptical but I'll have a look.

Alright...

I viewed the video that I have added to my signature: Revival Hymn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwbps9k5Dj0

I likewise viewed two videos from the World Revival Church. After hearing the story of the revival in the early 1900s, and Wesley's preaching both described in the video I link to, I compared the results of those revivals to what I have seen in this "revival"... I have to conclude that I won't be making any plans to visit Kansas City.

I hate to make such a strong judgment, but this revival does not appear to be anything like the revivals of old.

Quest

why are the people all unstable and emotional

Emotional I will give you, but not unstable in the least. It is not simply "emotionalism" as you made be wondering about, though. If you are afraid of having emotions in church, then you are afraid of ever being made happy or excited for the Kingdom of God or ever feeling any infatuation with our Savior. Your love for Him would be simply out of duty and religion, not because your heart is genuinely right with God.

This revival has actually stabilized many unstable lives. Come see the people in and out of church. Come ask them what God has done for them and you will see people who have been utterly and permanently changed. The people may seem "unstable"in composure for a moment because they are overwhelmed with joy, conviction, or a weighty anointing, but I promise you they leave the services more stable and surefooted in life than when they walked in.

Quest

If your argument is that "The Great Awakening was a revival", and "World Revival Church is not the Great Awakening", therefore "World Revival Church is not a revival", then your logic is based on a fallacy. I am not saying this to be rude or to slam you, please understand. This is not a personal attack, but the same goes for your reasoning that it would grow faster.

As I have said, this is a "local church revival", so more time is spent in one church, showing how one church can operate consistently in the power of God. There is some travel, but it is not based on a traveling itinerant. One reason why there has not been so much growth is that the preaching is confrontational, forcing to people to either act in conviction or choose to be offended. Sadly, many choose to be offended, so there aren't a ton of big names jumping all over it with endorsements. There has been growth though, we have been on Daystar for over a year, and tens and thousands of phone calls have come in, and those numbers are growing weekly.

Since our main focus is God coming to the local church, we focus on burnt out pastors at the end of their rope. This was what brought our Pastor to Brownsville in 1996, causing our church to erupt in Revival when he came back. We don't just want a bunch of spectators, if you come we want you to participate and be changed. This doesn't draw huge crowds, but the word has spread worldwide, and we have seen our share of visitors both local and international. Don't make this another religious numbers game.

On the note of people falling out of their chairs with conviction, this has happened. I am almost ashamed to even play your comparison games, but I will indulge you. Early last year (I want to say March) a message was preached on the sign of Jonah from Luke, and people fell from their chairs wailing. Back in Smithton 1998, (Maybe 97) a word was preached almost completely unprepared at a Pastors Conference. This message was called "Break Free from the Crowd" about the woman who anointed Jesus's feet. Pastors fell like dead weight from their chairs out of sheer conviction.

These videos are simply a testimonial glimpse of something much larger and greater than these 6 minutes clips. The word is inspired and tremendous. The people are happy, living "victorious lives" as you say. The standard for a move of God is the Presence of God and the Word of God. The word is inspired, and dividing our spirits from our souls on a weekly basis. You cannot set a revival standard based simply on appearances or administrative details.

"The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor."

"You will know a tree by its fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor a bad tree produce good fruit."
