-We invent/progress toward: space travel, automail (biomechanics), dive technology (neurological electronics), possible underwater/lunar colonization, limited teleportation (in theory), and the move to inventoried, digital systems for civilization (examples of this would be something like those medical chips they're putting in babies and elderly people...makes you easy to track)

McDonald's files for bankruptcy (the incompetent service I've gotten there lately is just ridiculous)
Walmart files for bankruptcy (they don't give a hoot about their employee's working conditions and it shows...)
Microsoft forces all of its users to upgrade to the latest windows version (Oh wait - that's already happening!!)
They find Obama's kenyan birth certificate 100 years from now.
Tesla motors becomes the biggest seller of cars in the US (their Model 3 racked up 325,000 orders on the first day!)
