Every time I've ever called the females a peahen, people would say, what are
you talking about. So, I decided just to call them peacocks, everyone knows
what I'm talking about. They are some interesting birds though. She's not a
good hatcher, she'll lay 5-7 eggs, hatch out 3-4. I've had them for 5 years, they
are 8 years old, she has hatched out females only.

Since I went thru the parent thing, and loved my babies like I never thought I could, this hit me hard.
I cannot imagine how heartbreaking this is for this new mother.

So the goal in reading the Bible is not to read the Bible. The goal of reading the Bible is to get to know and interact with the God of the Bible. To lose sight of this can cause us to miss the very life and peace that God offers through His word.

We can see this "sun thing" here in NB today too....it's that shiny bright orb in the sky?..right?
Just sent an email to my landlord, asking permission to get a pair of kittens. Please pray she will say yes. Kittens are always so cute, and the more the better. I'm hoping Samantha has her babies this week. The sooner they're born, the sooner I can get one. And keep praying for at least one orange tabby in the bunch!! #loves orange kitties

So the landlord answered my email. She said that my lease allows "reasonable accomodation" for 1 cat, but they'll need a doctor's note to allow me to get 2 cats. So I'll just get my neurologist to give her a good medical reason why I need TWO kittens.
