Jesus’ perfect life and agonizing death on the Cross paid the penalty for all our sins, making us holy as he is holy. And because of this Jesus is not ashamed to call us his brothers and sisters. What an amazing thought! It is familiar to know Jesus as our savior. And we know He is King of Kings and Lord of all. But have you ever thought of Jesus as your brother? There is a closeness to knowing Jesus as a sibling, our older brother who is here today to show us the way to life in all its fullness. This verse again underscores the reality that as Christians we have been brought into the family of God. This is not a theoretical reality, this is now true for those who believe. As Christians we are part of a family that has God as our father and Jesus as our brother!

Ugh.... Don't remind me Dan.... I didn't sleep much after the heavy thunderstorms passed by at midnight last night... geez... I don't understand how people sleep through that!! I never could sleep through a storm when I was little... and I still cant now. Wakes me up every damn time... no matter how exhausted I am the night before. :rolleyes:

There was a thunderstorm that passed through my area last night too. I woke up once to a loud blast of thunder. :p

several times I woke up lol... I was tempted to just stay awake through it all, and I looked at the radar on my phone to see where it was... yea no thanks... It had JUST got to my area... sigh... I'm so tired too lol.. Thank havens for lots of coffee!!I may need a few shots of espresso :eek:

Yawn, I've been working for seven hours now, and there's still some work's that gotta be done before I call it a day. I have been reading old documents all day and my eyes are so worn out that they easily could be taken for traffic lights...:p

One of these gorgeous boys showed up this morning...with two ladies in tow...we have had whole families go through...little chicks after they hatch...he is in full mating plumage and so beautiful!...actually he's still just outside making that funny noise and flapping his wings...I'll put corn and seeds out by the barn for them cause they are shy to come in so close to the house

Just a reminder LB, no matter how busy you are at your job or whatever else you have going on in your life being peaceful is something that comes from within and is an incredible gift that God has made available to us it's up to us to determine whether to use it.

they are so shy...all the dogs were lined up in the window watching him...the hens never did come in...they stayed hidden
