Dear leftists who feel first, think later (if ever),
Got a couple of bones to pick with you over your new cause de jour. That is, where a person should or should not sit upon the porcelain throne. If you had asked me ten years ago “where do you see yourself in ten years,” I promise you I never would’ve answered “peeing in a stall next to a man,” or “writing about where men and women should drop a deuce.” In fact if you had told me I’d be writing about how telling a man to use a urinal in a man’s bathroom would one day be “hate speech” I might have laughed so hard I’d have to run to the LADIES room. Never once wondering which potty place to visit. Call me a cis-gendered hater.

What has our world come to? Sin has certainly increased just as the bible states and hearts are waxing cold....

You are absolutely right about losing their minds! The only place the enemy has access is the mind and mental illness in one form or another is rampant isnt it?
Its not only in the stores but they are adding a third bathroom in schools now! I keep thinking that we are in end times because how can it get any worse but we said that in the 80s.

ha! I watched a 50 min broadcast debate on BBC yesterday that dealt with this issue..apparently transgender...I think more the males who switch to female, seem to think that society MUST accept and legislation should be passed to ensure that happens

I prob would not have normally watched such a thing, but I did for some reason and I am glad that I did cause I am better informed of the issues and how it appears to be affecting the majority who are born male or female and don't have a problem with it

I tried to find a link to the debate but so far have not found it

the panel consisted of a transgender female and male and the other side was a lesbian and a male lecturer/teacher/philosopher whose sexual preference escaped me

the transgender female...who still looks very manish despite the makeover...was all about hurt feelings and how joe public just had to be conformed to her image of a perfect society...ie legislate until the cows come home...the lesbian on the other side was all up in arms and made the argument that women (born a woman)...were being bullied by transgenders. She further made the point, that transgender women attempt to go ultra feminine; ie rather artificial in make up, hair, clothes etc which I would agree with

The philosopher made the point that what is being overlooked, is that legislation generally will protect the minority at the expense of the majority...which is my argument for any type of manipulation attempting to nullify the exact right we supposedly have, to express an opinion without someone suing us over it because it infringes on their 'rights' or if not that, then it is referred to as hate speech (sorry for the run on sentence)

people from the audience were also given some time to express a view or ask a question after the debate

interestingly, at the end of the debate, the voting for or against the proposed legislation had changed in percentage as to where people would vote. it changed from 4% against the legislation to 25% against it

see, people generally don't seem to pay much attention unless it affects them or theirs personally...but when paying attention and the facts are presented and both sides make available their views, things shift

the subject of public toilets did come up and a third transgender option for same, was tossed out

time to put on the breaks

Interesting. Thanks for that!
I just dont understand how people could not be outraged about this gender identity stuff. The world is blinded. They dont see what is going on. Look who was awarded woman of the year last year? Chris Jenner?
Do you ever feel like you live in a sci fi movie? I do!

it's utter nonsense

if it was Star Trek, I would apply for the Enterprise LOL! take the helm ember! ;)

yes...the Bible says that the god of this world has blinded the eyes of unbelievers...believers are also falling for it in the name of love....but it is not love...that would be like Christ leaving us in our sins because He loved us and did not want to hurt our feelings

there is such apathy that an A bomb wouldn't change things half the time

but like I said, the most interesting aspect of the debate, was the change in voting...AFTER the debate with a 21% increase in those opposed

I can well imagine that some men might use the trans thing to abuse women where they are vulnerable...public setting or not...all they have to do is say "I wish I was a woman ?!?"

it's not just young girls, but any women at all!

these ridiculous laws make all the excuse a pedophile, pervert or rapist needs to enter the restroom of the opposite sex "i identify as a woman today"

all so that some minority sexual deviants won't have their cover blown at a bar where they're lying to potential hook-ups about their gender, when they go to the other bathroom, or to keep them from "feeling bad about themselves"

what about the feelings of everyone else who uses those public bathrooms? or what about the truth?

this isn't even debatable; it's just stupid. i'd be totally shocked if anyone on this website supports it in any way at all -- so what's the point of this thread, just to make people angry?
seriously, do you imagine there are any 'transgender bathroom activists' on this forum at all? even one?

This next comment I am going to make, I am not suggesting in any way that homosexuality is not sinful, or that transgender is not troublesome, so please don't say I support it, I don't.
I do believe that some, not all, but some, of these issues are caused in part by the genetically modified, chemically enhanced, non organic nature of the foods ingested by the mom, and dad, at the time of conception, and for the mom the lower tissue quality during the development of the fetus, and of course as well as the diet of that person him or her self.
Of course their is a spiritual and environmental component, but the diet probably does play a factor in this.
This country has seen a large increase percentage wise in cancer, autism, allergies, arthritis, heart disease, emotional disorders, and diabetes, over the last 20 years. If diet can affect the body, why not the mind, and even the spirit?
Aren't our bodies our temples?

to inform perhaps?

seems the audience at the debate I watched had a 21% change of heart AFTER the debate

that was worth seeing IMO, and illustrated that so many just simply are not informed...information

I don't believe man/women selected gender identity is possible. God plumbed us to the only gender identification available to us. Removing that plumbing doesn't change your God given identity. There is one thing that gets lost in this issue. We are commanded to love even those who are living this or any lie. When we share the love of a life lived for Christ with people lost in this or any other sinful life style, lives will be changed.

I traveled outside the areas frequented by tourists in Japan as late as 1985. There were no men's/women's restrooms. There were no stalls in the restrooms either. They separate sex from natural body functions. The locals thought the red faced Americans were funny. I wonder what they would have thought when they walked into a modern American restroom equipped with stalls.

how very Christian of you :)
it is true what He said, they will know we are His by our love for each other!
don't you agree?

if you don't want people to comment on your threads, you should post blogs instead of on forums.
or better yet, just open a new notepad file on your computer, and don't make it public.

no answer for my question?
do you imagine that there is even one person on this whole forum who is a "transgender bathroom activist" ?
if so, why do you have such a low opinion of Christians, and if not, to whom is this thread directed and what is its real purpose?

They should of had made many single restrooms in the first place. It should never be a restroom or room that is not monitored by an couple of adult staff workers. When you leave children alone with other children, something will always happen, even if they are not transgender. little boys and girls are curious and always trying to experiment with new things, and so they should never be left alone under any condition and or with other children. But having a few restrooms that only can be occupied by one student at a time.

The safety/privacy of young girls (or boys) does not outweigh the rights of the transgender, the gay/lesbian, or those who prey on young girls/boys.

Don't believe me, ask a Liberal Socialist Democrat.

Good call on that one, sister. I didn't think about that but you're right; they'll lose my business.

Hi,

being a little bit more up to date here or should I say, get it right .

We have loo,s that are used by both male and female each one is its own unit so no matter who,s in its private and no stand up thing,es for men its a all sit down on the loo,s , Oh forgot men can stand up and ........ ya well

And we have other loo,s set up for Moms and or Dad,s to take their kids in as they are bigger so a wheel chair or prams can go in Jos and I used them for our Kids years ago and I did with our Grand kids , ,

We don't seem to have issues here in Kiwi land , plus on our streets in Waimate where I live look it up on the Map you,ll see two close together that any one can use male and , female and push a pram in as well . so time to look beyond your backdoor and see how we do things over sea,s and maybe take it from us it works problem solved ,

When I was at training camp Army in this case the loo,s were used by men and women all in the same building no walls in side men and women together , sitting in that case we did not have any issues we worked to gether and got on well .

I know theres a big debate going on that seems to be very strongly divided and as to cost to change ours we started out from go to all done with one works for all ,

The any store that has trans gendered rest rooms will loose your surpport , well we,v covered that in many out lets with out issue,

...noeleena...

Male restroom, female restroom, unisex restroom.

Problem solved. If a transvestite feels bad about going into a men's bathroom they can go into a unisex one. Bet the ranch you won't find many if any women in the unisex ones though.
