"After that He appeared in another form to two of them."
Mark 16:12
Being saved and seeing Jesus are not the same thing. Many are partakers of God's grace who have never seen Jesus. When once you have seen Jesus, you can never be the same, other things do not appeal as they used to do.
Always distinguish between what you see Jesus to be, and what He has done for you. If you only know what He has done for you, you have not a big enough God; but if you have had a vision of Jesus as He is, experiences can come and go, (still) you will endure "as seeing Him Who is invisible." The man blind from his birth did not know Who Jesus was until He appeared and revealed Himself to him. Jesus appears to those for whom He has done something; but we cannot dictate when He will come. Suddenly at any turn He may come. "Now I see Him!"
...No one can see Jesus with your eyes. You cannot bring your friend (into a vision of Jesus) unless God brings him. Have you seen Jesus? Then you will want others to see Him too. "And they went and told it to the others, (but they did not believe them)." You must tell, although they do not believe.
"O could I tell, you surely would believe it!
O could I only say what I have seen!
How should I tell or how can you receive it,
How, until He brings you where I have been?"

Good Morning Every One.... Blond is up and ready for a beautiful day and will be headed to church shortly as for me it is Sabbath morning. So thankful tourist has a job that will let us go to church every week. I guess he starts working 11-7 on Monday 4/11 - thanks Soulsearch for the curtain research, but the cardboard goes up tomorrow on the sliding door...

So in honor of the beautiful day....

Darlene, I'm so happy you and Tourist got to go back to church today.
I hope that God poured out His blessing on you both. I know the few
times that I had to miss a service, it really bothered me, although, I was
to sick to go. When I read your post, I said Praise God, Thank You for this
blessing.

We actually have been able to go to church three weeks in a row!!! I am praising God for sure I don't really like it when I can't go to church... I love the lessons we talk about during what we call Sabbath School which is a lesson study before church and for the kids they have great programs...learning about Jesus and what the Bible says all the stories. Our group is studying the book of Matthew right now... And the cherry on top the sermon.... love spending time with God... the peeps are o.k. too.

Been in a pretty dark place for the past week or so. I may end up quitting my college and look for at least a part-time if not full-time work. Feel disheartened but at the same time it's probably for the best. I really need to stop dwelling, too.

I'm sorry you are going through a time such as this. Will pray for you, and for God to ease your spirit.

Sooo inappropriate, Phil.

Kidding.
I just wanted to see how it felt to say that.

Ya know.....l really didn't feel anything. Am l suppose to?
I've been married twice, and the second sent me to the bottom of a whiskey bottle. I thought it was completely appropriate. ;)
