Went out around 6:30 am and walked around town for about 45 minutes, to help strengthen up my back. Found pennies scattered all over State St. :) I am now 9 cents richer than I was before I went out walking. Woo hoo..

He lives!
He lives!
Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me
And talks with me
Along life's narrow way
He lives!
He lives!
Salvation to impart
You ask me how I know He lives
He lives within my heart........................

1 Thessalonians 4:14 - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

[h=1]John 14[/h][h=3]Jesus Comforts His Disciples[/h]“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—
this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men.

God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. (Acts 2:22-24)

Happy Resurrection Day! :)

I am very disappointed in a great many threads on the forums. They begin with good intentions but they change and transmogrify into some abomination where people are tossing out bits of scripture here and there and then mucking it all up with doctrine and the thread turns into a food fight. Some folks have some very peculiar ideas about religion and it's evidenced by how they take one or two passages completely out of context to make their particular point. No wonder "the church" is so fragmented into tens of thousands of different denominations. The worst part of it all is everyone thinks they are right and everyone else is wrong.

I shouldn't have even browsed these forums today. I was having a great day, but now it's just a little dimmer after seeing so much arguing. I need to go watch a funny video about animals or something.

Certain parts of the forum can get icky. I tend to avoid certain topics because all others do is argue. This thread is safe, though :)

On another note, 2 people got baptized today at sunrise service!!! :D

Icky is a nice way of putting it. There are whole swaths of the forums that make me want to turn my shower on pure hot water and play out the scene from The Crying Game. I kind of regret joining these forums, and I think I'll do some looking around to see if there is something better, but somehow I think I'll find the same type of stuff anywhere I go. Too bad because I'd really like to find some people to learn from so I can grow in my faith.
