Been calling them cotton spiders since a little kid.I just found this in my house. I don't know why it has green fangs, but that's a nope on every level lol. Tbh I smacked it and left it in the corner. I don't even care. I hate spiders and I'm not going back in that room for a while. *shudders* :S
Hahaha! We really do! I only shop a few times a year, it gets me excited all the time. Anything that's beauty related triggers my inner 12 year old tho lol. See, I got this 6-month pass for the universal stuido theme park and I've only been there twice and haven't tried the.. Dino ride! Lol, oh you should come visit!!

They're fairly harmless, and if you live in the continental united states, then no...it's not just where I live. They live all over the world, and there seem to be a great many here in North America.
I take it that you killed it before you could see it in action, though. There's a reason why it's called a 'jumping' spider.
I'm aware as I mentioned I read the wiki page shortly after I found it lol. No matter how common they are, that's the first I've ever seen.. but they can live or jump wherever they want, as long as it's not in my house. : D
As much as I love twenty one pilots, that picture itself scares me too much to click play.
