Is St Patrics day a big thing in the US? In Norway the only ones that are even aware of it are people that have a special love for Ireland

I didn't even know it was St. Patrick's Day! LOL I always thought those holidays fell on the weekend or on Mondays.

P.S. I love the Irish accent. I think it's beautiful!

I think Americans just like an excuse to drink green beer and make fun of gingers and "little people". xD

Hehe :D

I am a bit annoyed that although I lived in Scotland three years I never got around to go to Ireland on that day
Guess I'll have to return.

Haha I just remember those silly movies called Leprechaun in Space or Leprechaun in the Hood. My brother and I would jokingly think about future movie titles: Leprechaun on Ice and Leprechaun goes to Mars....ROFL

I remember it was a big thing when I was a kid. All my teachers would remind us to wear green and all the grown ups would go to a bar party or celebrate and it was like new years eve. I think what killed it was new liquor laws that made bars resposible for drunk patrons and all the MADD campaigns (mothers against drunk driving) that ran tv commercials and also the government started to require bars to close by 2am and some states restricted the hours when you could buy liquor at a store. So yes it once was a big deal but now people barely notice it...

:p :D
Yes, might take us a wee while though, how long you got? :p
As the luck o' the Irish would have it,
me thinks we have eternity...Praise ye Lord Jesus!
Shalls we meetin Dooblin, then? ;)

Btw, just saw the vid you posted.....
beautiful imagery. Reminded me a bit
of middle earth. Now I REALLY want to go.

JeniBean: Maybe you were on candid camera?

In local news I am not wearing one speck of green today, and the first person who pinches me gets slapped. Or maybe punched, depending on which way my reflexes decide to go.

When I was in high-school someone actually got punched for pinching someone. He never dared to pinch again...

xD Especially ginger little people.

Ugh... this is about my height isnt it...?

Sigh... I told you guys already... I am TALLER than my own mother! lol But then again my whole family is short and NO ONE had a chance... lol

Too bad I aint really from Ireland, just LOVE claiming my ancestors live there ^_^

On principle, I never drink anything that's green.
No green tea? :( No pickle juice?!

Meh. You've prolly got some SOMEWHERE back there. I know I've got at least one Irish immigrant in my ancestry. And being short is okay. You can't reach stuff, but at least you can fit into cars and probably don't smack your head on stuff very often.

HAHAHA, Could be!!! On your news, I am also not wearing green. I have Purple With Black Leather skirt and boots on today!!!! So no pinch from me!

I don't think I'd complain about you not wearing green if your wearing that
