Men really want that. Not the extreme but they want a meal and a clean house and normal respect and a woman who has it all together, even if they don't expect her to do it all alone, except for my brother in law. One big mess, he couldn't care less. Pizza every day holadijee. Give me our Dirk with his humor and his jokes. That was their wedding song.
 
Last night I made my husband some Lipton's instant chicken noodle soup...so that's something.
I also made sure there were less dust bunnies on the floor than usual.

Maybe I'm off then darln...... I wouldn't the Mrs.. To do everything.... I'd rather we do stuff together.... Cooking.. Cleanin.. Washin.... Runnin around..... Ah, what am i worried about..... N

Yes but that's what I mean. They both don't care except when they get guests. Hahaha I called them with her birthday. They were totally stressed up, to get the house in order. She rarely cooks a decent meal, neither does he.

I'm good at washin dishes..... I would give everything i got to make that plate sparkling clean......with all my heart blue.... I'd give her a brand new plate...... Them ain't just words.....

Well, EVERYONE likes to be pampered.

In my vast experience of never being married, it seems to me that being a TEAM where people are loyal and have each other's backs really matters. I mean, even in a FRIENDSHIP it pays to be relationship minded and value what your friend values. Seriously, my life would be significantly improved if I came home everyday and there was someone there to say, "It's so good to see you, dear."

Also, if my husband worked all day and all I needed to do was make sure that he had a meal ready when he came home....PUUHHHLEEEZE. That's like a dream world. Basically, I'd be at home pursuing all my hobbies and interests except for an hour or so where I could shower, get a meal going, and drink a glass of wine while I waited for him to arrive home. That's what I call LIVING THE DREAM. The only way it could be MORE PERFECT was if he was super-attractive, taciturn, and gave good footrubs. (Oh honey! It's been such a hard day reading and dabbling in some writing...could you rub my feet?) THEN, I could drink my wine, look at his pretty, pretty face, and relax before serving him his dinner.

Yes I had to stay home for a year because of RSI. I got so utterly bored that I even cleaned the windows.

What works for someone may not work for someone else, cultures differ and you can not force your way of thinking on others to do so is wrong and un-Christ like....so please both sides let's stop this crap and just agree to different views on marriage relationships....

I agree with this.

Regardless of how you do it outwardly, only God knows whether you're truly loving, honoring and respecting your partner. He looks at one's heart.
