all i know is this - my boyfriend and i were talking about the future.

YOU don't eat fast food or SHAWN doesn't eat fast food?!!!!! Gotcha! I didn't say cleaning is soooooooooooooo hard,I said its work. If you don't think so call Merry Maid and tell them to come clean your house for free.Get back to me about what they say. I clean different things each day. I have a two story home with four bedrooms and two baths. Each day has different work to be done.And if I let that work undone for 2 weeks the house would be a mess. Anyone who actually cleans a house knows that. And my house is spotless,so much so that my mother in law asks me for tips on keeping her house clean.

Yes,I talked about flowers too,read back. This is the south where men are real men and open doors for women. Women don't get a chance to open a door for them, southern men are gentleman and open doors for women. Im sure many men here do the same. See that's an old fashioned traditional thing men use to do for women.It was womens lib who started saying "I can open my own door. You'd think someone like you would know that. {rolls eyes right back}

I can only speak for myself. My husband and I respect each other and share duties and responsibilities and that's how a mature relationship should be.
Two people? I see way more than that and most attacks are going towards me and my husband... We are just saying our opinion and thats what the forums are for right? If you wanna hate on us you can but dont go saying its all us cause youre lying to yourself =) Im just gonna end with I agree with what Shawn said before and the OP was actually true back in the day. =)

Now only Shawn would be a jerk enough to make that comment. You can twist what I said all day.People here read what I said. I said we give to each other,no one lower than the other. There isn't anything he does for me that I wouldn't do the same for him. So if I did ask him to kiss my feet I would do the same for him,so I guess we're both dogs.
1. You dont trust me but you havent even taken a look =) Christian women do this all the time. Im not saying all but I see it alot. Alot of Christians unfortunatly see themselves better than others and thats why this happens alot.

If it helps, the quickest, most efficient way I've found to bring the administration's attention to a situation is to use the triangle-shaped button with the "!" in the middle (at the bottom of the post, towards the left) to report a specific post or message.
I'm not taking any sides here, for the sake of trying to bring this to an end. I'm just agreeing that things have gotten out of hand, and the best way to alert the mods is to report individual posts.

And Im not taking it back. Im tired of all the bashing and yes I admit to saying that, maybe it wasnt the kindest and mostly I was just annoyed at her saying that my husband should go so low to kiss my feet. I would NEVER let my husband become my dog... I feel that was more than disrespectful so I got annoyed and I defend and I get rude.
But I agree to this tho. This post is getting out of hand and telling me Im a man is actually making me upset, because Im a freaking woman. And I can prove it to anyone who cares enough but this needs to end...

I have to agree with Shawn here, he may have a different perspective of marriage but that does not mean it is wrong it is what works for him...we can't bash people for having different ideas and labeling them "woman haters" or "man haters" proud arrogant etc... that's not right on the flip side we shouldn't call others significant others dogs but I can see your point of it "demeaning your husband like a dog"
What works for someone may not work for someone else, cultures differ and you can not force your way of thinking on others to do so is wrong and un-Christ like....so please both sides let's stop this crap and just agree to different views on marriage relationships....

Yes, we agree for the most part here. But people who have impossible lists either end up single or grow up and realize unless you are perfect you cant demand that someone else be perfect. Ive grown a lot and learned a lot from my husband. I grew up in a home with mental abuse so that is why I react so strongly. If we are gentle,loving and caring,putting the other first we will have good marriages. But each person has to work that out on their own. Attacking people will never ever change their mind.
