Blueladybug....
I love you and Angela
You two are strong thru your pain...
please remember I love you
And
I will be praying for you...
I love all you...
But I cannot take all lies here!

Like my granny said....
A beautiful soul
Is not the mirror
But within
And some who are wicked
Will lie and hurt the beauty within a person
Before
They face themselves!

Sometimes in life
Beauty on the outside
Will want to destroy
A woman beautiful within
Because
The time of vanity
Is false content to society....
But you give a good heart a dawn
And sweet tea....
You got yourself a real lady!
Lol

Once again, I need prayers for poop. The cat has had chronic gas/ diarrhea now for several months now and her meds aren't helping one bit with it. Please pray her poop will return to normal and her gassiness goes away. If this keeps up, I'll have her put to sleep sooner than planned and I'm not ready for that yet.. thanks

I put you and Tequila on my prayer card last Sunday. I know what it is like living with an incontinent cat. My cat was sixteen and a half and had lost half her body weight when it became plain to me I could no longer delay. You will know when the time has come. In the meantime, I shall keep you both in my prayers!

Thank you, Magenta. The time HAS come, it's here. However, it IS still winter and even though Vermont has absolutely no snow, the ground is still frozen. I was planning on putting her down in May when her medicine refills run out, but she did diarrhea all over the bathroom floor, and I can't keep cleaning up after her. And more than anything, I wish and hope that between now and May, that she will die in her sleep here at home because I don't have the money to have her put down.. :(

The fact that you left this as your reply, tells me you already know what kind of hump day THAT is.. ;)

I had my cat cremated after she was put down... I was so glad a friend was with me that day. I forget what it cost, but yeah, it was not cheap. They asked me if I would like a private cremation. Huh? What for? So I could keep her ashes, apparently. No thanks! Her sister had fallen to her death many (15) years earlier. A friend took her remains to the SPCA for cremation, but I cannot remember the cost. It is illegal to bury your pets in the ground here! Or at least, where my daughter lives. They buried a beloved cat in their garden regardless, just over three years ago. Now they have another cat, my daughter domesticated her, and they think she is over 20 years old... she is staying inside more and more lately, so it is probably just a matter of time with her, now, too :(

I won't have her cremated. She'll rot naturally..lol.. I can bury her at my parent's house.. I'd like to bury her at their old house, next to her brother, but it's doubtful that the new owners would let me. They're never there anyway, I could go bury her there and they'd never know it.. Some day soon, I'll go to where my parents live now, and pick out a nice quiet spot to put her in. I'm having her put down before the "major" holidays come along, (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's) so that it won't hurt quite so much to face those holidays alone. She's been with me for EVERY holiday for the last 15 years.
