It is true that Scripture verifies our experiences, but one need not have Scripture or Scriptural knowledge or expertise to experience God in the first placeOne of the things I find most interesting in Christendom is the fact that we believe in a supernatural God with Whom we are to have a personal relationship, but there are Christians who wish to deny the validity of supernatural experiences that form the basis of that relationship for others. If they have not encountered the Living Lord, that is one thing, but to wish to deny that others have is quite another.
So God spent 2000 years putting together his word. Countless men died for having the guts to write the words he wrote. and we do not need any of it??
Oh modern day thinking.. God help us..
