It seems you want to deny Scripture! I wonder why.So we do not need scripture?
How can you be sure it is not satan voice acting as an angel of light?

It seems you want to deny Scripture! I wonder why.
Are you trying to convince us that Satan leads people to Christ?
No I am trying to keep people from being fooled into thinking every voice they hear, is from God.
I am sure the catholic church thinks it is God speaking to them, not satan. So can we all be right? How are we to know who speaks for God and who does not?
By the Holy Spirit and whether or not He confirms the truth of something...
Scripture told me after the fact. I have quoted Scripture a number of times, yet you pretend I have not, and further accuse me, as if it is because of me that you have such a hard time accepting what I and others say when we speak of experiencing the love of God. In fact, you deny what Scripture even says, pretending it could have been Satan who pointed us to Jesus Christ, when it was God Himself, and Jesus pointing back to God.I asked you a question.
Why do you always make it so difficult.
In fact, you just answered it for me. Scripture told you that. So apart from scripture, you would never know those words..
So thank you,

Blasphemy is what some would call what you are doing.
Ascribing to Satan the work of the Holy Spirit of God.
You keep asking the same question as if you have not
been given the answer that Scripture very plainly states.
His sheep follow Him because they know His voice.
Knowing His voice is not dependent upon knowing Scripture, though Scripture
affirms the truth of our experiences, which you try to ascribe to Satan.
Most people on the BDF are convinced that they are 100% correct.
Most people who don't believe what 'we' believe are either not understanding or somehow blind to the truth.
But, what if, everyone was correct?
What if, what they believe is absolutely true for them?
Isn't this how faith works?
If you don't believe in tongues, you surely aren't going to break out into speaking in them.
If you believe that the law or aspects of the law still apply then you are going to work at them.
If you believe that coming to Christ requires no effort but all the work comes after coming to Christ then you will be hard at work to prove you are Christian.
No one can really argue someone out of the faith they have. I wonder what can change someone's faith.
Has the Holy Spirit convinced some people of some things and other people of other things? In order to get certain things accomplished at certain times...
1 Corinthians 3:6-9
[SUP]6 [/SUP]I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
Those who plant don't necessarily believe exactly what those who water believe. Those who plant believe work, work, work. Plant here, plant there, get the ground ready, shoo away the crows...
Those that water, just water. They hope everything is just right for growing. But they aren't concerned with whether the ground was prepared, or whether the seed is on rocky ground or if it is deep enough... etc. They just water and look to God to do His Work. Growing the fruit.
Matthew 9:28-29
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
Does that statement by the Lord Jesus Christ ever make anyone wonder?
By most of the threads and comments around here it seems like people are blind to this truth. Do you really think its a good idea to teach people not to have so much faith in Gods Grace? Do you really think its a good idea to teach people that they should be diligently working at the 10 commandments in some form?
I think most people mean well. I just think 90% of them are blind guides. And the 10% percent left are extremely short sighted.
Anything that is taught should be pointing to a clear picture of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and His Work. We seem to get distracted pretty quickly by wondering 'but what do we do?'.
That was the distraction of the Ancient Israelites who had just come out of slavery. Why can't those who read about all the mistakes keep themselves from the same mistakes?
How can you make the blind to see?
Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." How does one explain how we recognize the voice of the Master when He speaks to us? When I was at the lowest point of my life, broken beyond repair and feeling like an irredeemable failure, He filled me with the Light of His unconditional Love and forgiveness. The experience was unmistakably from God, filling my whole being, and imparted to me knowledge I had not had before. If I were to be left with just one experience in life, I would choose that one, and it is something I would want everyone to experience. I fear my words do not do it justice... The Bible certainly helps me to understand that this is what God would have for everyone, would all accept His offer.
His sheep follow Him because they know His voice.
I think people are forgetting, Scripture says Satan comes as an angel of light.
We can not discern who is really talking to us if we do not have his word.. The Inspired scriptures of God.
again, without the word of God. How would you know that was the HS talking, and not some demon coming disguised as the Holy Spirit?
And many have been led astray because they think they hear the voice of the Shepherd but it is bleating wolves. They weren't grounded in God's Word.
Hmmm. Not sure how to answer that...you don't know His voice in you?
It is true that Scripture verifies our experiences, but one need not have Scripture or Scriptural knowledge and/or expertise to experience God in the first placeHow can you test the spirits without His Word?
How would you have known it was Christ filling you with love without His Word telling you that He is a God of love?
I don't deny experience as I have had them but they only make sense in the light of His Word.
Yes I used to go to services where they mocked it if you wanted to test if it was from God and that is extremely dangerous. Then any spirit can interfere. Hey people get saved, so it is God, but there can be mixture. And many have been led astray because they think they hear the voice of the Shepherd but it is bleating wolves. They weren't grounded in God's Word.
