Very baby like skin! Though yesterday a client treated me to a 24k facial! Now that was a treat and my skin seriously is glowing and looks 5 years younger!

What tha? Im growing old on a budget ladies![]()
Oh, also, in regards to vitamin C: make sure whatever you try uses a potent, STABLE form of the molecule. The cheaper brands typically are not stable, so the vitamin C loses it's efficacy once exposed to the air. It's a very delicate molecule![]()
Skittles, I HAVE to give you props!
As much as i loved my facewash, your post inspired me to start researching more stable forms of vitamin c and i found a serum that uses the magnesium ascorbyl phosphate form of vit c. I've been using for a few weeks and i feel like my skin glows. i have two blemishes on my cheek that are almost invisible now.

where do you get it?
Have you tried anything yet for the spots, Mitspa? Just curious if anything had started working for you
I would listen to this woman's advice.....I've been meaning to post a thread about organic apple cider vinegar and then yesterday I thought, wait, age spots. I wanted to google first, sure enough there is mention of it. I have been using it as a body rinse & on my face for close to a year, half water & half vinegar mixture. It is a great astringent and exfoliation product. Does wonders for scalp health. It helps with premature hair loss, too. Anyway, if you choose to add a retinol product to your eventual trials, I think it will bring good results in combination to the Vitamin C & glycolic acid cream.
1) You can use glycolic acid cream in conjunction with retinol, at night.
2) You cannot use Vitamin C with retinol, so, use the vitamin C in the morning, before you apply sunscreen.
I suggest burt's bees sunscreen and Neutrogena rapid tone repair(night), it's a great retinol product for about $20. Retinol may lend to hyper-pigmentation with prolonged sun exposure, so use sunscreen. Don't just do your face once you begin a regimen, do your neck down to your chest also, at least past where your shirt collar rests. And, a little product goes a long way, less is more. When you invest in these products, they should last few months at least.
