I was in line at the bookstore this morning to buy a water. Well, the person ahead of me bought a Monster energy drink and cookies so the cashier called them the cookie monster, it made me laugh lol

Been there.When old people try to set you up with their son/grandson...
Double awkward if the person they are trying to set you up with is way younger or older than you. Before my hair started turning grey people were always low-balling my age. Well-meaning elders would pair me up with girls ten years my junior, and when I'm 24 that gets awkward fast.
That awkward moment when you give up trying to mash a sandwich flat and have to admit that the sandwich you made is just too tall.
That awkward moment when you got away with admitting that because there was nobody else around... but then you went and posted it on a forum.

Tell me about it... one of the last times it happened I was talking to this old guy I know and he was complaining about how his 40 year-old son was a mooch and an idiot and had bad taste in women and how his last girlfriend had stolen money from him and he kept taking her back. Then... "I wish he'd find himself a nice girl like you. Hey, you're not interested in a good-for-nothing 40 year old man, are you?"

"Well, I don't blame you."
He was kidding at least, but then there was this old guy at the fair I'd never met before... he called my over specifically to talk to me about setting me up with one of his grandsons... LOL.
