Man it's cold outside today! Arctic air blast moving through. I can't wait to finish delivering mail!

Yep, Vermont winter's are like Maine's. Most years it is brutally sub zero cold for days on end. Looks like the Northeast has been unseasonably warmer this year. In Florida it still feels like summer most days. I'm not complaining though.
This year is weird. We had one snowfall, less than an inch. I'm still wearing my sandals outside cuz the sidewalks are clear and every other day is warm.. if only Vt had winters like this one every year.. sigh..
Do I sound like a little girl? lol What makes it feel so cold is that it's been in the 40's and now, overnight it's in the teens. Need time to get used to it.You wimp. Come to Vermont and experience a REALLY icy cold winter..
When I moved to where I now live I put myself through what I call cold therapy. The weather is so different than the phnx metro area. I would sit outside and shiver( this also burns calories which is a bonus
) . My blood has thickened and now I keep my thermostat around 60 daily. I turn it down to 58 at night. Im kinda a polar bear now. lol

It swung to the SW. Its unseasonably cold here. It has snowed 6 times since november 2015.I dont mind it. I lived in hot hot weather most my life so I like the chilly weather now.

From what I understand one of the ovens at work was not working right and tourist opened it to check on what was going on and instead of just feeling heat it shot out a blast of steam which hit him in the chin and lip area. There is a blister on his top lip and not sure if any others will come up.
Walmart manager took him to the hospital Doctor gave him ointment to put on the burn and said it would take a couple of weeks to heal. I am just praising God that it didn't do more damage or hit him in the eyes. Hope they get that oven fixed.
Steam burns hurt really bad so if tourist doesn't feel like going in to work tomorrow as they expect him to I am going to tell him to call in sick...and just rest... He is sleeping right now because he is suppose to be at work at 5AM I am glad he is resting.
I had the children's story at church today and I asked him if he wanted me to go to the hospital with him and he said no so I went and told the story and worried at the same time....Isn't life grand?
